The following terms and conditions apply to the INFINITY Warranties offered by Cellcom Communications. For consumers residing in the Province of Quebec, such plans are offered to you following disclosure of the existence and nature of the legal warranties provided for in the Quebec Consumer Protection Act, both in writing and orally. If, for any reason, you were not provided with such disclosure, in writing and orally, please inform the representative who has offered you the warranty immediately or contact us at serviceclient@cellcom.ca.

Possible additional options, as indicated on invoice:

SWITCH INFINITY OPTION       Transfer your INFINITY Warranty to an unlimited number of successive eligible devices purchased by you from Cellcom Communications in the future, one device at a time, as long as you have made no successful claims under the warranty.

INFINITY TITANIUM OPTION    Add-on for Infinity Diamond only.  Upgrade your device after 12 months from the original purchase date with trade-in of the original device. By returning the original device, Cellcom will pay the early upgrade fee*. Includes unlimited tempered glass exchanges, complimentary bill analysis every 12 months and VIP appointments available upon request.

TITANIUMCONT OPTION           Transfer your TITANIUM option to your next eligible device purchased by you from Cellcom Communications.

Terms and conditions applicable to all INFINITY Warranties

If, following submission of a claim, Cellcom Communications determines that your device has a manufacturing defect or suffered a physical or liquid damage which the device should have been able to withstand given the product claims made by the device manufacturer, and that which is covered under INFINITY Warranties*, and that such defect or damage impairs the device’s proper use, Cellcom Communications will repair the device at its expense. If the device cannot be repaired, the device will be replaced by the same model, or by a similar model with the same characteristics as the original selected by Cellcom Communications, at its sole discretion.

*To clarify, physical or liquid damages covered under the INFINITY Warranties are limited to the damages that the device should have been able to withstand given the product claims made by the device manufacturer and they include the following damages:

  1. Broken screen or phone shell cracked following a drop onto tile, carpet, or wood, up to a maximum height of 1 meter.
  2. Broken camera following a drop onto tile, carpet, or wood, up to a maximum height of 1 meter.
  3. Devices with buttons pressed following a drop onto tile, carpet, or wood, up to a maximum height of 1 meter.
  4. Devices that have been splashed or that have been submerged in water up to a maximum depth of 1 meter up to 30 minutes.
  5. Devices that fell in the snow for a maximum of 30 minutes

INFINITY Warranties and related options are NOT insurance. It does not cover the damage to the device arising from an exterior cause unrelated to the device. Each of the INFINITY Warranties is a limited warranty, which is extended only to the original end-user purchaser of the device, and which is not transferable or assignable to any subsequent purchaser. Each of the INFINITY Warranties is offered for a limited term, as indicated in the table above. There is no limit on the number of claims that can be made under your INFINITY Warranty or the number of times that a device can be repaired during the Term of the Warranty. However, there is a limit to the number of times your device may be replaced following a legitimate claim made under your INFINITY Warranty during its Term. This number is referenced in the table above. As indicated in the table above, you can only obtain the replacement of your device once, twice or three times following a legitimate claim, in accordance with the INFINITY Warranty selected by you.

Only the device bearing the serial number identified on the proof of purchase of your Infinity Warranty will be covered under the warranty.

Any modification or repair of your device by an agent other than Cellcom Communications and other than the original manufacturer of the device will void the protection offered by the manufacturer’s warranty as well as the protection offer by your INFINITY Warranty

Your INFINITY Warranty has no cash value, cannot be reimbursed, and cannot be transferred, unless specifically provided for in these terms and conditions.

The INFINITY Warranties do not cover:

  1. Any damage due to abuse, neglect, misuse (such as device that fell under a mower or through/under heavy machinery) or intentional fault;
  2. Any damage due to failure to follow the product instructions;
  3. Any damage due to repairs or alterations attempted or made by persons other than Cellcom Communications or the original manufacturer of the device;
  4. Any damage due to direct exposure to corrosive materials;
  5. Any damage due to power surge;
  6. Any damage due to external causes, such as natural events, lightning, flood, fire, and other actions or events beyond our reasonable control;
  7. Any damage to a device whose serial number is no longer legible;
  8. Loss or theft of the device;
  9. Normal wear and tear;
  10. Any damage to accessories, equipment, or components external to the device;
  11. Any damage that does not arise from a defect or disfunction of the device;
  12. Any other damage that does not meet the criteria set out above as “physical or liquid damages covered under the INFINITY Warranties.”

Terms and conditions applicable to INFINITY PLATINUM FLEX 36 MONTHS & PLATINUM 24 MONTHS Warranties  

The terms and conditions set out above apply to this INFINITY Warranty.

The SWITCH INFINITY Option is included in this INFINITY Warranty. As indicated above, the SWITCH INFINITY Option allows you to transfer your INFINITY Warranty to an unlimited number of eligible devices purchased by you from Cellcom Communications, one device at a time, if you have made no successful claims under the warranty. However, under the INFINITY PLATINUM Warranty, the SWITCH INFINITY Option will remain valid even if a claim is made during the term of the warranty. In other words, the INIFINITY Warranty may still be transferred to an unlimited number of eligible devices purchased at Cellcom Communications even if a claim is made during the term of the warranty. When transferred to the new device, the INFINITY PLATINUM Warranty will cover 2 potential device replacements.

Terms and conditions applicable to INFINITY DIAMOND FLEX 36 MONTHS & DIMAOND 24 MONTHS Warranties  

The terms and conditions set out above are applicable to this INFINITY Warranty.

Device repairs or replacements are unlimited with the INFINITY DIAMOND. Cellcom reserves the right to void or refuse any claim that Cellcom deems abusive.

The SWITCH INFINITY option is included in this INFINITY Warranty. As indicated above, the SWITCH INFINITY option allows you to transfer your INFINITY Warranty to an unlimited number of eligible devices purchased by you from Cellcom Communications, one device at a time, if you have made no successful claims under the warranty. However, under the INFINITY DIAMOND Warranty, the SWITCH INFINITY option will remain valid even if a claim is made during the term of the warranty. In other words, the INIFINITY Warranty may still be transferred to an unlimited number of eligible devices purchased at Cellcom Communications even if a claim is made during the term of the warranty. When transferred to the new device, the INFINITY DIAMOND Warranty will still cover unlimited replacements. The INFINITY DIAMOND Warranty will no longer be transferable to another device as soon as a second replacement is made.

Terms and conditions applicable to INFINITY TITANIUM option 

As mentioned above, the INFINITY TITANIUM option is an add-on to the Infinity Diamond Warranty. The INFINITY TITANIUM option is applicable to Apple iPhone devices only.

The INFINITY TITANIUM option can not be added to a device enrolled to Device Return Option.

INFINITY TITANIUM option includes the option to upgrade after 12 months with the trade-in of your original device and where Cellcom will pay your early upgrade fee. The device must be in “like new” condition when traded in. In the event the device is not in “like new” condition, you must make a claim to repair or replace the device. When you receive the bill from Bell with the early upgrade fee, you must return to the store to receive a refund for that fee. It is then your responsibilty to pay the Bell bill including the early upgrade fee.

INFINITY TITANIUM option includes unlimited exchanges of your tempered glass protectors, both front and camera glasses. You must have purchased a tempered glass to receive this coverage. You must keep the damaged glass to make the exchange.

INFINITY TITANIUM option also includes a complimentary bill analysis every 12 months and the option for VIP appointments upon request.

Terms and conditions applicable to the SWITCH INFINITY option 

As mentioned in more detail above, the SWITCH INFINITY Option will allow you to transfer the amount of the INFINITY Warranty originally purchased by you to an unlimited number of eligible devices purchased by you from Cellcom Communications, one device at a time, if you have made no successful claims under the warranty.

The transfer of your INFINITY Warranty to a new device must be requested by you at the time of purchase of the device or within 30 days of such purchase, provided that the request occurs within 30 days of the expiration of the Term of the INFINITY Warranty applicable to your original device. The transfer must be requested at the same Cellcom Communications store where you purchased your INFINITY Warranty.

Proof of purchase of your original Infinity Warranty plus its SWITCH INFINITY Option must be provided at the time of transfer of your Infinity Warranty to a new device.

Cellcom Communications is not responsible for the loss of the INFINITY Warranty if its transfer is not requested within the time period indicated above.

The SWITCH INFINITY Option cannot be purchased to apply on an INFINITY Warranty that has already been transferred.

The purchase and/or use of the SWITCH INFINITY Options do not impact on the term of your INIFINITY Warranty.

Cellcom Infinity Fleet for business – All risk protection – Terms and conditions

Cellcom Infinity 36 Month All Risk Protection Plan for Mobile Devices and Tablets

  1. Definitions
  • For purposes of this Plan, the following capitalized terms have the meanings set forth below:
    • “Plan” means this Cellcom Infinity 36 Month All Risk Protection Plan for Mobile Devices and Tablets.
    • “Client” or “You” means the individual or commercial entity purchasing or enrolling Devices in this Plan.
    • “Device” means a mobile phone or tablet activated on the Bell network through Cellcom and properly enrolled in the Plan.
    • “Coverage Term” or “Term” means the 36 month period beginning on the date of Device activation under the Plan.
    • “Certified Technician” means an Apple or Samsung authorized repair provider selected by Cellcom.
    • “Accessory Bundle” means the Cellcom supplied screen protector and case applied to the Device at or before the time of delivery.
    • “Deductible” means the flat fee of $129 payable by Client for each covered incident.
    • “Loaner Phone” means a temporary replacement Device provided by Cellcom while covered repairs are underway.
  1. Coverage and Benefits

2.1 Scope of Coverage. Subject to these Terms and Conditions, this Plan provides all risk coverage for accidental physical damage and liquid damage to enrolled Devices during the Coverage Term.

2.2 Repairs and Replacement. Cellcom will arrange unlimited repairs for covered damage through Certified Technicians. Client is entitled to one (1) full Device replacement per enrolled Device during the Coverage Term. Any replacement Device becomes the covered Device for the remainder of the Term.

2.3 Loaner Phones. Upon approval of a covered claim and receipt of the Device by Cellcom or its designated repair provider, Cellcom will, subject to availability, provide a Loaner Phone within twenty four (24) business hours when the request is submitted before 1:00 PM local time. The Client must return the Loaner Phone in good working order upon completion of the repair or replacement or be charged the full retail value of the Loaner Phone.

2.4 Transferability. Provided the conditions in Section 5 are met, coverage for a Device may be transferred to a new contract with Cellcom upon renewal of the Client’s Bell service.

2.5 Accessory Discounts. For Clients enrolling one hundred (100) or more Devices, the Plan includes a 50 percent discount on accessories purchased through Cellcom during the Coverage Term.

2.6 Limitations.

  • Repairs and replacements are limited to damage occurring during normal use; intentional damage, cosmetic damage not affecting Device functionality, and damage occurring before the Coverage Start Date are not covered.
  • Client is responsible for the Deductible for each incident.
  • Additional or upgraded accessories are not covered unless expressly stated.
  • Coverage does not include loss or theft.
  1. Enrollment Requirements

3.1 Timing. Enrollment in the Plan must occur prior to delivery of the Devices. Enrollment after delivery is not permitted.

3.2 Eligible Devices. Only Devices activated on the Bell network through Cellcom are eligible.

3.3 Selection of Devices. Client may enroll all Devices in its fleet or select specific Devices. Pricing is determined based on the total number of Devices enrolled and must be agreed at the time of enrollment.

3.4 Accessory Bundle Requirement. Each Device must be equipped with the Accessory Bundle at the time of delivery to qualify for coverage. Removing or replacing the Accessory Bundle without Cellcom’s prior written consent voids coverage.

  1. Deductible and Pricing

4.1 Deductible. A flat Deductible of $129 applies to each repair or replacement claim. The Deductible must be paid before services are rendered.

4.2 Pricing per Device. The price of the Plan is determined by the number of Devices enrolled as follows:

All prices are per Device and exclusive of applicable taxes. Monthly plans require a 36 month commitment; early cancellation may incur additional fees.

  1. Transfer Conditions

Coverage for a Device may transfer to a new contract with Cellcom upon renewal only if all of the following conditions are met:

  1. Contract Renewal. Client renews its Bell service contract through Cellcom before the expiration of the 36 month Coverage Term.
  2. No Prior Claims. The Device has not been subject to any prior repair or replacement claims under this Plan.
  3. Accessory Compliance. The Device has continuously used the Accessory Bundle from the time of delivery without unauthorized removal or substitution.
  4. Transfer is permitted only once during the lifetime of the Coverage Term
  5. The client must purchase a screen protector and protective case upon renewal in order to safeguard the new device

Failure to meet any of the above conditions renders the Plan non transferable, and coverage terminates at the end of the original Term.

  1. Exclusions and Termination

6.1 Exclusions. This Plan does not cover: (a) Devices not purchased or activated through Cellcom on the Bell network; (b) damage caused by neglect, abuse, or intentional acts; (c) theft, loss, or mysterious disappearance; (d) pre existing conditions or damage occurring before Plan enrollment; or (e) any Device for which the Client fails to maintain an active service agreement with Bell through Cellcom.

6.2 Termination. Cellcom may terminate coverage for any Device if: (i) the Client fails to pay amounts due under the Plan; (ii) the Client breaches these Terms and Conditions; or (iii) the Client’s service agreement with Bell or contract with Cellcom is terminated. Upon termination, no refunds will be issued except as required by law.

  1. Client Responsibilities

The Client must: (a) maintain the Device in accordance with manufacturer instructions; (b) promptly report any damage and submit claims to Cellcom as instructed; (c) protect the Device from further damage once a failure occurs; and (d) return any Loaner Phone or replaced Device as required by Cellcom. Failure to comply with these responsibilities may result in denial of coverage.

  1. General Provisions

8.1 Entire Agreement. These Terms and Conditions, together with any enrollment form or order summary, constitute the entire agreement between Cellcom and the Client regarding the Plan and supersede all prior understandings.

8.2 Assignment. Client may not assign or transfer its rights or obligations under this Plan without Cellcom’s prior written consent.

8.3 Governing Law. This Plan will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

8.4 Severability. If any provision of this Plan is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

8.5 Amendment. Cellcom reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions for future enrollments. Amendments will not apply retroactively to Devices already enrolled unless required by law.
