Congratulations Lesleigh Abbott!
Please join us in congratulating Lesleigh Abbott of CHEO on being awarded a 100% Fund Research Grant for her project, “Decoding the Tumor-Immune Microenvironment in Rhabdomyosarcoma to Enable Patient Immunotherapy.”
This innovative research seeks to uncover how rhabdomyosarcoma tumors avoid detection by the immune system and explore new ways to empower immune cells to better recognize and attack cancer. The ultimate goal is to help pave the way for more effective, less toxic treatments for children facing this disease.
We are proud to support this important work and look forward to following its progress. Congratulations, Lesleigh!

This was a 100% Fund grant project funded in partnership with Fight Like Mason Foundation, Team Finn with Kindred Foundation and Childhood Cancer Canada, with support from C17 Council.
