Brewer Sends Stimulus Money to Border for Illegal Immigration Fight

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer, claiming to “reject” the Obama administration’s assertion that the border is more secure than ever, announced Monday that she’s directing $10 million in federal stimulus dollars to tackle smuggling and illegal immigration.

On the same day the administration announced its plan to send 1,200 National Guard troops to the southwestern states, Brewer said she’s sending the pot of stimulus money to more than a dozen border cities and counties — as well as several tribes and the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

She said the grant money would be targeted toward fighting drug trafficking, illegal immigration and human smuggling.

American Indians Get Another $1 Billion of Obama Stimulus Bonds

This comes on the heels of the reparations to be given to Hawaii and the American Indians in the amount of $3.4 billion.(Not this Stimulus bit)Now another $3 billion. Right, the MSM didn’t cover this proposed “settlement” Nice we re so flush with cash. The bonds are the second authorized under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act that President Barack Obama signed a year ago, which enabled tribes to sell as much as $2 billion of municipal securities, according to an announcement today from the Treasury. The government in September authorized 58 tribes to sell the first $1 billion of the bonds.

The sales will provide tribes from Florida to Oregon with funds for tourism, energy, water and health facilities, according to a list released by the Treasury. The tribes can sell traditional tax-exempt bonds or so-called Build America Bonds, whose taxable interest costs are 35 percent subsidized by the federal government.

Michelle Obama’s Stimulus Program

The Canada Free Press informs us that Michelle Obama is a one-woman job creation machine right inside the White House. In less than a year, she has managed to hire at least 200% more personal servants than any other First Lady in the entire history of the American Republic. Currently, the number stands at 26, “including a hair dresser and make-up artist.” [as noted by http://www.americanthinker.com ]

Hillary Clinton had 19 staffers – Laura Bush 18.  How times have changed. For comparison, let’s remember that poor Bess Truman and Mamie Eisenhower had to shell out the salaries for 5 of their personal secretaries from their own pocketbooks.

The collective salary of Michele’s personal “staff” apparently costs the American taxpayer $1,750,000.00 per year, plus benefit packages. And lets not forget her Mom is living there too… ‘to help with the kids’ was it?
