Obama’s Coup Begins : Manchin President, PA Shapiro Vice President. UPDATE

It looks like it may be a no go for Manchin as early reports are  he is dropping out of running…. at least for now. Apparently he can’t be bought at this point.. Just my guess…. Even though the Silicon Mega Donors want a Manchin Shapiro ticket according to an interview with a mega donor with Jesse Waters

Sen. Joe Manchin of West Virginia, who is now a registered independent, is considering re-registering as a Democrat and running for president, a close political aide to the 76-year-old senator told CBS News. Manchin left the Democrat party in May. There was no way he believed he could get re-elected and this was a last gasp or so we thought. But wait.

And with that, we know the well planned coup is under way.

Barack? No Harris for him.

Barack Obama issued a statement on Sunday afternoon, hours after President Biden announced he was dropping out of the presidential race.

Obama weighed in on his former vice president’s unprecedented decision to step aside for what Mr. Biden said was the good of the Democratic Party and the country. Notably, Obama did not name or endorse Vice President Kamala Harris to be the nominee, even though Mr. Biden said she had his “full support and endorsement.” (Source)

Et tu Brutus said:

We will be navigating uncharted waters in the days ahead. But I have extraordinary confidence that the leaders of our party will be able to create a process from which an outstanding nominee emerges. I believe that Joe Biden’s vision of a generous, prosperous, and united America that provides opportunity for everyone will be on full display at the Democratic Convention in August. And I expect that every single one of us are prepared to carry that message of hope and progress forward into November and beyond.

Manchin is a moderate? Why no. His mild manner and commitment to drill baby drill was what kept this Dem in his senate seat.

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WBOY) — A new FiveThirtyEight report shows that West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin (D) is voting against President Joe Biden’s positions on bills more often this Congressional session than any other senator up for re-election in 2024.

West Virginia had a 39-point margin toward Republicans in the 2020 presidential election, more than any other state with a senator up for re-election next year—which includes Montana at 16 points toward Republicans and Ohio with eight.

FiveThirtyEight found that in the 117th Congress (the session that began on Jan. 3, 2021, and ended on Jan. 3, 2022), Manchin voted with Biden’s position on 87.9% of bills.

This of course neutralizes VP candidate Vance whose main job it is to corral the Pennsylvania Ohio Michigan voters to Trump.

Meanwhile, Clyburn and the Clintons signed up to back Harris which should make for some interesting popcorn nights.

So watch the press. They will get their marching orders. My guess is they will let Harris flounder around until the convention. With everyone getting an inside view that Harris is as equally unqualified as Joe, the convention will be just ripe for the fresh new guys. Or will they?

There is this Black woman thing that is going to be an issue.

Stay tuned.

Biden’s Doctor O’Connor, Hunter Biden – Americore Business Partners

Textbook Biden business model: – Joe Biden meets Americore CEO – Hunter Biden meets with him too – Jim Biden, wife Sara, and son Jamie are on the Americore payroll – Joe’s personal doctor, White House physician Kevin O’Connor, joins Americore meeting with Jim Biden – Bidens make beaucoup $$$$ – Little people get hurt – “Joe knew nothing. He only talked about the weather.”

So goes the tweet by Miranda Devine.

Politico starts out:

In 2017, a hospital operator set out to build a rural health care empire with the help of a Philadelphia-area consultant.

The consultant, Jim Biden, had no experience running hospitals. But he did understand the federal government and had ties to labor unions. Perhaps more important, he was the younger brother of Joe Biden.

In what has to be a read far better than any “Who dunnit.” No less than Politico lays out the latest scam discovered. So while Trump is hauled before the mast in a “No one dunnit” in a guilty finding of a charge by a judge where no crime occurred, this mockery of justice continues with one Joe Biden.

Much of this is from a post done earlier this year. Now that we know more about the personal Doctor,  Dr. Kevin O’Connor, perhaps the somnolent media may have more interest in the story this time around. We learn now that details of the whole affair are sitting in Hunter’s laptop. I am waiting for Miranda Devine to give us an update.

The bottom grift was over billing Medicare.

Meanwhile, the Justice Department found that Americore’s hospital in Pennsylvania entered into sham service agreements and paid kickbacks as part of a scheme that billed the government for medically unnecessary lab tests the hospital shipped out to be performed elsewhere. Those actions are at the center of a federal prosecution of a $100 million conspiracy to defraud Medicare that has netted a guilty plea from the recipient of the kickbacks, and, according to a person familiar with the case, remains ongoing.

Enter Dr, O’Connor:

…..

A few weeks after Fountain concluded the deal with Ellwood City Hospital in Pennsylvania, Jim Biden took Dr. O’Connor, an army veteran who served as Joe Biden’s government-provided doctor during the Obama administration, to meet with the hospital’s president, Beverly Annarumo.

“You and your team clearly share our vision, and I look forward to seeing you again in coming months,” O’Connor, who now serves as Biden’s White House physician, wrote to Annarumo later that week. Annarumo did not respond to requests for comment.

The White House did not respond to requests to interview O’Connor. The physician, who also lists an affiliation with the George Washington University’s medical school, did not respond to an email sent to him through the university’s website.

Interesting too is that the name of now Pennsylvania Governor Shapiro was involved as well. He played the role of Attorney General at the time in this grade B script, but let’s not lose the story line. (Now his name is bouncing around as a possible candidate for President?) Just too clever.

Politico:

This explains why Americore sent Jim Biden a $200,000 “loan” in March 2018 that he and his wife Sara used to write this check to Joe Biden.

Miranda Devine

“Jaw dropping that Jim Biden paid Joe Biden $200k that was funded by a payment he received from Americore when, according to the SEC, it was insolvent. If this happened in Australia, or the UK, the administrator or bankruptcy trustee would aggressively recover these funds. Here, crickets.”

Image

Jim Biden got much more than 200K from Americore, then later was sued by bankruptcy trustee and compelled to return 300K. Of course, Joe got to keep the 200K phantom loan repayment.

The story continues:

The email, obtained by POLITICO from a person close to the company, documents one of the many ways in which Jim Biden invoked his brother’s name and clout in the course of his work with Americore, whichhas since gone bankrupt, wreaking havoc in rural communities in the process.

Jim Biden spoke of plans to give his brother equity in Americore, according to one former Americore executive, and install him on its board, according to a second. He also said that if Americore could find a winning business model for rural health care, his brother could promote the company in a future presidential campaign, a third former executive told POLITICO. All were granted anonymity to discuss a company mired in legal and political controversy

In order to fund Americore’s expansion, Jim Biden offered to secure capital from investors in the Middle East, according to the emails and executives. When the expected money did not arrive, it aggravated Americore’s preexisting financial issues. The company collapsed, leaving behind unpaid bills and neglected patients.

As the layers of activity that occurred in and around Americore are peeled back in a federal prosecution in Pennsylvania, a bankruptcy court in Kentucky, and tense witness interviews on Capitol Hill, a POLITICO investigation renders the most detailed picture to date of the ways in which Joe Biden’s relatives leveraged his public stature to advance a private business venture.

…The investigation also reveals that Joe Biden’s name and inner circle were more involved with the company than has been understood: In addition to the accounts provided by former executives, investor materials described Jim Biden as an adviser to his older brother.

And on top of Joe Biden’s own previously reported encounter with the firm’s CEO, at least three of Joe Biden’s relatives did work with Americore. They include Jim Biden’s wife, Sara, and his son, Jamie. The president’s son, Hunter Biden also met with its CEO, and his personal doctor — current White House physician Kevin O’Connor — joined a meeting with Jim Biden and the president of a hospital being acquired by Americore, according to a former executive and emails obtained by POLITICO.

…….The next month, White met Jim and Hunter Biden for lunch at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Manhattan. The trio discussed the possibility that Americore could land an investment from associates of Jim and Hunter Biden affiliated with CEFC, a Chinese energy firm, according to a person familiar with the conversation.

Tracy Schmaler, a communications consultant who has been fielding media inquiries on behalf of Hunter Biden’s legal team, did not respond to a request for information about the encounter.

In November, Jim and Hunter’s plans with the Chinese businessmen were upended when one of them, Patrick Ho, was arrested by the FBI for bribing government officials in Chad and Uganda.

……

In August of 2017, Jim Biden began workshopping a letter that Rustom was to deliver to Khaled Sultan Al Rabban, an official at the Qatar Investment Authority, according to emails obtained by POLITICO. He shared one version of the letter with White. A few days later, Sara Biden sent an updated version to Hunter Biden to review.

In this draft, which was among the documents found on Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop, Jim Biden writes that, though the Bidens are not lobbyists, “My family could provide a wealth of introductions and business opportunities at the highest levels that I believe would be worthy of the interest of His Excellency.”

I made the following comment in my previous post:

So the noose should be tightening. But so far the media has barely shown an interest. Except now as Politico takes a turn at looking at the corruption, one wonders if the white flag has been raised by the Dem insiders and decided it is time to dump the guy. Jim Biden is set to meet with the House on February 21st.

“The Committees seek information you possess regarding your business dealings with both Americore and James Biden, including, but not limited to, the ‘loans’ that James Biden received from the financially struggling company,” the letter, sent Thursday afternoon, reads.

Comer and Jordan have been investigating Americore and James Biden allegedly misleading the company into giving him a $600,000 loan. The committees interviewed Carol Fox, a bankruptcy trustee of the company, earlier this month, and Fox testified that James Biden promised he could leverage his last name to secure funding from the Middle East. (USA Today)

So where are we now in July 2024? What happened to the investigation? No wonder the Biden clan is sweating bullets. This no doubt just the tip of the iceberg.

PA Governor-Elect Josh Shapiro Vows to Crackdown on Fracking and Energy in State – Thousands of PA Jobs at Stake

Governor-elect Josh Shapiro announced he is ready to restrict fracking and energy development in Pennsylvania following his win on Tuesday.

Pennsylvania is one of the largest fossil fuel producers in the U.S, accounting for 9% of the country’s total natural gas production. It’s also the third-largest provider of energy to other states

Shapiro now says he supports the recommendations from the state’s investigation (which he implemented) that includes:

** Expand “no-drill” permits making if more difficult to produce natural gas
** Disclose fracking chemicals so companies can be targeted with lawsuits
** Regulate smaller oil and gas pipeline

According to Jeff Flock on FOX Business Network, Shapiro is going to crack down on the state’s vibrant energy sector.

As Attorney General in the state, Shapiro investigated fracking companies in the state which resulted in charges against a couple of drilling companies.

H/T: Gateway Pundit

You may wonder where this man Josh Shapiro came from. Actually another Senator-elect Fetterman who drifted below the radar thanks in no small part by the GOP. He should have been an easy pick-off. Presently a Progressive Attorney General for the State who already had gone after the Natural Gas industry with various lawsuits.

Here is the stunner. Mastriano. the Conservative GOP candidate for Governor, was popular and well known having been a major player in GOP politics for years. I had heard of him back in the halcycon days of the Tea Party.Yet I saw not one ad supporting his candidacy. Yet thousands of anti ads from his opposition of the worse possible kind.

At the time I voted on Tuesday, I recognized a candidate at the Mastriano table and asked him why there had been no ads. He indicated to me that the GOP had not given one nickel to his candidacy. All the ads that occurred for him were from friends.

So one has to ask why?A supporter of Nat Gas as opposed to a Progressive State Attorney General Greenie.

Zero ads about Shapiro’s anti-fracking. I add the same with Fetterman. No ads about his public statements of anti-fracking.

From an anti-Mastriano piece:

Mastriano:

Mastriano has unabashedly and loudly called for deregulation of the state’s fossil fuel industries. In March, he introduced the PA Energy Independence Act, which would make it easier for oil, gas, and coal companies to dig for resources throughout the state.

The bill would mandate that the state Department of Environmental Protection review natural gas and coal permits within 45 days, or the permits would automatically be approved as long as they meet certain conditions. It would also lift the Wolf administration’s ban on leases in state parks and forests, establish a cap on permitting fees for fracking wells, and exempt Pennsylvania’s coal industry from federal regulations.

“We need to open more of our lands for fracking and drilling,” wrote Mastriano in an op-ed supporting expanding Pennsylvania’s energy production. “The blessing of Marcellus Shale in Pennsylvania is still underutilized with untapped deposits of natural gas.”

Good luck America and Pennsylvania in particular.
