Biden Judge Orders Trump to Pay USAID Contracts, Blasts Trump Attorneys

A Biden-appointed Muslim judge on Tuesday blasted DOJ lawyers over USAID disbursement and ordered the Trump Administration to pay the foreign contracts by 11:59 pm on Wednesday evening.

The court system is not handling the lawfare well at all (understatement). The Supreme Court needs to intervene here and in other cases to save the judiciary from itself.

Chief Justice Roberts, the Justice assigned to cover the DC Circuit, has issued a stay:

UPON CONSIDERATION of the application of counsel for the applicants, IT IS ORDERED that the February 25, 2025 orders of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, case Nos. 1:25-cv-00400 and 1:25-cv-00402, are hereby stayed pending further order of the undersigned or of the Court. It is further ordered that any response to the application be filed on or before Friday, February 28, 2025, by 12 p.m. (EST).

On Tuesday, Judge Ali dressed down DOJ lawyers over the disbursement of funds.

“I don’t know why I can’t get a straight answer from you. Are you aware of an unfreezing of the disbursement of funds for those contracts and agreements that were frozen before Feb. 13?” Judge Ali said to the DOJ lawyers according to a telephone hearing attended by Politico reporter Kyle Cheney.

39-year-old Canadian-born Amir Hatem Mahdy Ali, the first Muslim and Arab DC judge, clerked on the Supreme Court of Canada and later led a radical leftwing group that called for defunding the police. In the lame-duck session after Democrats lost the White House and Senate on November 5, 2024, Senate Democrats confirmed Ali on November 20 with a vote of 50-49.

How does someone become a US FEDERAL JUDGE ONLY 5 YEARS AFTER BECOMING A US CITIZEN??

Earlier this month, US District Judge for the District Court of Columbia, Amir Ali, a Biden appointee, temporarily blocked President Trump from cancelling foreign aid contracts.

Judge Ali ordered the Trump Admin to restore funding for the foreign aid contractors after Trump froze US foreign aid for 90 days last month.

Last month, after Trump’s executive order to halt foreign aid grants, Secretary of State Marco Rubio issued new guidance to temporarily pause spending on most foreign aid for 3 months.

The judge?

The Ali confirmation was made possible by the absence of SenatorBraun (R-IN), who, if present, would have made the vote 50-50. Vice President Kamala Harris, who would typically cast a tie-breaking vote, was in Hawaii and unavailable, so it would have FAILED! Senator Joe Manchin (I-WV) joined Republicans in voting against the nomination, but the absence of Braun ultimately allowed the confirmation to proceed.

Buffoon Chief Economic Advisor Bernstein Humiliated at Press Briefing

Trump says the country is run by stupid people. Let’s check out Jared Bernstein who filled us in on inflation at a presser. For starters, he is not an Economist even though he claims so. Bernstein graduated with a bachelor’s degree in music from the Manhattan School of Music where he studied double bass with Orin O’Brien. Throughout the ’80s, Bernstein was a mainstay on the jazz scene in NYC. He also earned a Master of Social Work from Hunter College as well as a DSW in social welfare from Columbia University’s school of social work.

Jared Bernstein, the head of the White House Council of Economic Advisors, told reporters at Wednesday’s press briefing the administration’s answer to voters feeling negative “vibes” about high prices and inflation:

 

Jared is probably better known for his masterful rendition of describing “MMT.”

A keen supporter:.

“The U.S. government can’t go bankrupt, because we can print our own money,” Bernstein says in the video. He was then asked by the interviewer, “Like you said, they print the dollar, so why does the government even borrow?”

He was interviewed for a new film called, “Finding the Money,” a documentary made by advocates of Modern Monetary Theory (MMT) – a controversial line of economic thought. One of MMT’s central tenets is that government budget deficits don’t matter for countries like the U.S. that borrow money in their own currencies. Proponents argue this means the government should use tax and spending policies to manage the economy and address inflation instead of the central bank’s monetary policies.

A reminder that actually Jared’s forte is the Bass.

When the Press Became A Group of Rabid Dogs; Biden’s Nightmare Presser at 7:45 pm.

Whoever thought hauling out Joe last night to rebut the classified document report, which included his mental decline, turned the whole document affair into a nightmare. The usual somnolent press became a group of rabid dogs. They already had juiced up Joe earlier in the day. What were they thinking?

Despite President Biden’s denials, the report is full of references to willful retention including headings such as “THERE IS EVIDENCE THAT MR. BIDEN WILLFULLY RETAINED THE CLASSIFIED AFGHANISTAN DOCUMENTS.”

The effort to shift blame to his staff is curious when he admits that these documents go back 40 years. That includes material removed from Senate SCIFs, presumably by himself, in violation of clear rules

……However, what is more troubling is the failure to address the specific photos and details of the mishandling and retention of these documents. The suggestion that this is all the fault of “staff” is not just incredible but insulting.

President Biden just took a victory lap in not being criminally charged despite a finding that he “willfully retained” classified material and showed substantial decline in his mental faculties.

The DOJ is defending the lack of criminal charges against Joe Biden while noting the difficulty of going to trial against a “‘well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.” …

Biden is found to have “willfully retained” documents but he is still viewed as too “sympathetic” person for a potential jury. Conversely, Trump was clearly viewed as neither sympathetic nor sufficiently old to warrant such consideration.

The show stopper last night:

US President Joe Biden has been relentlessly grilled by White House reporters over his age and mental acuity during a surprise last-minute press conference late Thursday night, local time. A long-awaited report cleared President Joe Biden of any wrongdoing in his mishandling of classified documents on February 8, but dropped a political bombshell by painting the Democrat as a “well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory”.

Mr Biden rejected concerns about his failing memory during the address. “My memory is fine,” the President said.

We can question the “well-meaning.”

He had his prepared answers to questions.

It’s was a testimony of triumph over senility.

Obama tells U.S. press to ‘behave’

President Obama who is nothing but me, me. me it is all about me, complains about “his” lap dog press.

President Barack Obama told American reporters to “behave” during a joint press conference with President Jacob Zuma of South Africa.

Obama was warning U.S. journalists not to ask too many questions in one, complaining that “my press” tried to squeeze “three or four or five questions in there,” complimenting Zuma on his more compliant media. (Zuma’s  Television networks are dominated by the government-owned South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC)). Obama salivates at the idea.

(The Associated Press noted that “both U.S. and South African reporters asked multi-part questions,” though seconded Obama’s description of U.S. journalists as “his press corps.”)

Obama’s admonition of American journalists is not the first time he has rebuked them in the presence of a foreign leader, on foreign soil.

In March, during a joint press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, he scolded NBC reporter Chuck Todd for asking several questions, saying an Israeli reporter who asked only one question had “behaved” better.  H/T: Breitbart

Meanwhile, in taking a page from Putin- me, me , me, alerts his African fans to take it off. Though apparently he doesn’t feel as sexy as his role model Putin. (Don’t believe it-his idolizing fans loved it).
