Biden Judge Orders Trump to Pay USAID Contracts, Blasts Trump Attorneys

A Biden-appointed Muslim judge on Tuesday blasted DOJ lawyers over USAID disbursement and ordered the Trump Administration to pay the foreign contracts by 11:59 pm on Wednesday evening.

The court system is not handling the lawfare well at all (understatement). The Supreme Court needs to intervene here and in other cases to save the judiciary from itself.

UPON CONSIDERATION of the application of counsel for the applicants, IT IS ORDERED that the February 25, 2025 orders of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, case Nos. 1:25-cv-00400 and 1:25-cv-00402, are hereby stayed pending further order of the undersigned or of the Court. It is further ordered that any response to the application be filed on or before Friday, February 28, 2025, by 12 p.m. (EST).

On Tuesday, Judge Ali dressed down DOJ lawyers over the disbursement of funds.

“I don’t know why I can’t get a straight answer from you. Are you aware of an unfreezing of the disbursement of funds for those contracts and agreements that were frozen before Feb. 13?” Judge Ali said to the DOJ lawyers according to a telephone hearing attended by Politico reporter Kyle Cheney.

39-year-old Canadian-born Amir Hatem Mahdy Ali, the first Muslim and Arab DC judge, clerked on the Supreme Court of Canada and later led a radical leftwing group that called for defunding the police. In the lame-duck session after Democrats lost the White House and Senate on November 5, 2024, Senate Democrats confirmed Ali on November 20 with a vote of 50-49.

How does someone become a US FEDERAL JUDGE ONLY 5 YEARS AFTER BECOMING A US CITIZEN??

Earlier this month, US District Judge for the District Court of Columbia, Amir Ali, a Biden appointee, temporarily blocked President Trump from cancelling foreign aid contracts.

Judge Ali ordered the Trump Admin to restore funding for the foreign aid contractors after Trump froze US foreign aid for 90 days last month.

Last month, after Trump’s executive order to halt foreign aid grants, Secretary of State Marco Rubio issued new guidance to temporarily pause spending on most foreign aid for 3 months.

The Ali confirmation was made possible by the absence of SenatorBraun (R-IN), who, if present, would have made the vote 50-50. Vice President Kamala Harris, who would typically cast a tie-breaking vote, was in Hawaii and unavailable, so it would have FAILED! Senator Joe Manchin (I-WV) joined Republicans in voting against the nomination, but the absence of Braun ultimately allowed the confirmation to proceed.

The escape comes days after a 27-year-old man escaped the facility by scaling a fence and heading for the Mitchell Street party strip in a waiting vehicle.

The man tested negative for the virus but the incident is still under investigation, with police searching for the driver of the vehicle involved.

Northern Territory police say they don’t believe three teenagers who allegedly absconded from Darwin’s Howard Springs COVID-19 quarantine facility this morning came into contact with members of the community.

At a COVID update press conference, NT Chief Minister Michael Gunner confirmed the teenagers, aged 15, 16 and 17, tested negative for the virus yesterday. 

He said all three were from the Binjari community near Katherine and had been sent into quarantine as close contacts of positive cases.

NT Police Commissioner Jamie Chalker said officers found the trio on the edge of Palmerston and arrested them after a chase on foot.

He said the young people are still being interviewed but “early indications” were they had not had any contact with members of the public.

“The health risk to the community was very low, so that does give cause for comfort,” Mr Gunner said.

The facility is housing people affected by the  Katherine region COVID-19 outbreak as well as returned travellers from repatriation flights, including a man who tested positive for the Omicron variant on Monday.

Bill Gates: ‘Let’s block out the sun’ – spends big bucks

Bill Gates who apparently is willing to risk life on earth as we know it, and is apparently all set to spend his gazillion buckeroos in an elaborate scheme to change life or otherwise eliminate it all together for the sake of the earth. Anyway, he has been complaining that there are far far too many humans here anyway so what the heck. Who cares if there is a disaster? Here tis:

The plan sounds like science fiction — but could be fact within a decade; every day more than 800 giant aircraft would lift millions of tonnes of chalk dust to a height of 12 miles above the Earth’s surface and then sprinkle the lot high around the stratosphere.

In theory, the airborne dust would create a gigantic sunshade, reflecting some of the Sun’s rays and heat back into space, dimming those that get through and so protecting Earth from the worsening ravages of climate warming.

This is not the crackpot plan of a garden-shed inventor. The project is being funded by billionaire and Microsoft founder Bill Gates and pioneered by scientists at Harvard University.

Indeed, the plans are so well advanced that the initial ‘sky-clouding’ experiments were meant to have begun months ago.

SCoPEx is, however, on hold, amid fears that it could trigger a disastrous series of chain reactions, creating climate havoc in the form of serious droughts and hurricanes, and bring death to millions of people around the world.

One of the Harvard team’s directors, Lizzie Burns, admits: ‘Our idea is terrifying… But so is climate change.’ An advisory panel of independent experts is to assess all the possible risks associated with it.

One fear is that spreading dust (pictured) into the stratosphere may damage the ozone layer that protects us from hazardous ultraviolet radiation which can damage human DNA and cause cancer

Australia: 95 percent in hospital for Covid have been vaccinated

And Victoria, Australia has been in lockdown for 8 months says Sky news

Australia:

 Health Minister Martin Foley.

Health Minister Foley announced 867 new COVID cases recorded yesterday.  During the statistical outline Foley identifies 375 people as hospitalized, 81 people in intensive care and 61 people on a ventilator.   Then comes the statistic everyone in government and media ignore.  Amid the recorded cases “78% of the hospital cases are fully vaccinated, and 17% are partially vaccinated (1 dose)”….

That means 95% of the COVID patients in Victoria hospitals are vaccinated.

Victoria is reflecting this same issue, perhaps worse.  78% of the hospital patients are fully vaccinated, that’s actually a higher percentage than the population vaccinated as a whole. Meaning vaccinated people are arriving at the hospital in greater percentage than they represent in the population.  The vaccine could be making people suffer more severe outcomes.   Watch it again.  These are his own statements.

356 people out of 375 patients are vaccinated, yet 81 people are still in intensive care with 61 on a ventilator.

The governor’s daughter-in-law is listed on federal lobbying disclosure reports, showing that she and her team actively tried to influence members of Congress and those within President Joe Biden’s administration.

Hochul’s daughter-in-law isn’t the only close family member creating optics problems for the new governor.

Hochul’s husband, William Hochul, is a former federal prosecutor who works as senior vice president and general counsel at gambling and hospitality giant Delaware North. The Daily Beast noted that Hochul’s administration will have authority over key regulators that have ties to the gambling industry, including the New York State Gaming Commission.

Knives and Scissors removed from shelves in NZ after attack

Which is the bigger story? New Zealand’s “loose immigration enforcement” or having their citizens eating and preparing meals with a plastic knife? How about locking down your people over COVID? Take your pick. While we concern ourselves with protecting our second amendment, we would be wise keeping our eye on what the Aussies and New Zealanders are doing. The left is in full bloom. Knives and scissors have been removed from supermarket shelves in New Zealand after a recent stabbing attack. Supermarket chain Countdown said on Saturday, a partial “knife control” would be in effect for several weeks to prevent stabbing attacks going forward.

This decision came after a Sri Lankan national injured six people at a Countdown location in Auckland last Friday. Authorities said the attacker was inspired by the Islamic State to carry out the attack.

The left-wing cabinet of Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has admitted loose immigration enforcement allowed the attacker to live in New Zealand.

The police in New Zealand are establishing checkpoints south of Auckland, the country’s largest city, to prevent people from moving illegally between regions with different levels of virus restrictions.

“The checkpoints on the outskirts of Auckland will be stopping vehicles and questioning drivers, ensuring there is no nonessential movement through the region,” said Andrew Coster, the country’s police commissioner, in a statement.

Australia’s insane COVID rules are a warning to the rest of the Free World

Lockdowns have cut a swathe through the norms and conventions of an advanced Western democracy, from the suspension of a state-level parliament, to the banning of protests, to military enforcement of the COVID rules.

Australian authorities don’t fool around. State premiers have vast powers, and use them. In Melbourne, located in the state of Victoria, a curfew is in place, and limits apply to people leaving their homes. There are hefty fines for non-compliance.

The state of South Australia has developed an app to enforce home quarantines. As a news report explains, “The app will contact people at random asking them to provide proof of their location within 15 minutes.” If they fail to do so, the health department will notify the police, who will send officers to check on the malefactor.

Unrestricted travel is a hallmark of a free society, but Australians can barely leave the country. Travel has been cut off between states, creating an arbitrary patchwork of states trying to isolate themselves from COVID cases elsewhere.

Tens of thousands of Australians have been trapped overseas, unable to come back home because of monthly limits on how many people can return.

My thoughts:

I am of a certain age when as kids there were no vaccines for measles, mumps, chicken pox. We became sick, got well and when well went back to school. We went to school through the 1957 flu epidemic. No school was shut down, we simply soldiered on. Yes some kids did have adverse and lasting effects from the diseases. But the proportion was small, and the good of the whole outweighed the enormous cost of massively restructuring our society. There was not one thought of it.

Am I an anti vacciner? Not particularly. Though it needs to be a choice for parents in my mind. Especially the COVID vaccine. There is a reason that it usually takes almost a decade for approvals. The clinical trials participants have kids, years go by and is needed to determine the safety of a medication or vaccine. If one is at risk and at a certain age group it makes sense to me to have the Covid vaccine. All vaccines and medications have risk. Risk versus reward. That is how the game of life is played.

Aussies go full Orwellian – require ID to use social media?

The government could require you to hand over your passport to tech companies before posting online in a move that’s been slammed by experts.

The Australian government is mulling a proposal which would require citizens to provide at least two forms of identification if they want to use social media, under the guise of ‘battling online bullying and more easily report users to authorities.

I thought the Aussies had more sense. But then again they were more than happy to give up their guns.

“Are we turning into North Korea? This is Orwellian,” one user wrote on Twitter after reading the recommendation.

 

 

Under the guise of preventing online bullying, the Morrison government’s plan would require ‘100 points of identification’ in order to use Twitter, Facebook, Instagram – and online dating platforms such as Tinder, according to news.com.au. To satisfy the ‘100 points’ requirement, citizens would need to combine ‘Category 1’ methods of identification (birth certificate, passport, citizenship papers) with ‘Category 2’ ID (Valid government-issued license, public employee photo ID, doctor’s note).
