Pete Buttigieg Announces $19.5 Million Grant for Heated Sidewalks

A major influx of federal transportation dollars is on its way to the North Country. So goes the synopsis of this grant for the boonies of a forgotten northern town of Berlin, New Hampshire. I could ask about what is being done about our roads and bridges that are decaying beneath our trucks and cars, as opposed to not shoveling a sidewalk but then I would not be in the spirit of the moment.

Pete says the money is going toward economic growth.

You may ask just where is Berlin NH?

It is the northernmost city in New Hampshire. The population was 9,425 at the 2020 census,[5] down from 10,051 at the 2010 census

The New Hampshire Senator Hassan cheerily says “It took three tries but we got it done.” Hooray for our pork. When the Mayor is asked how much money will be saved annually with this boondoggle – “About $130,000 dollars in today’s dollars.” and adds “No small chump change.” Hmmm.$19.5 million cost.

Now that is no small chump change. Guess whose the chump? Try American taxpayers. Of course does anyone really think it will end up costing just $19.5 million?

How about the maintenance of this project when completed? Thought I might ask…

Historically these systems were expensive to install, problematic to operate, and occasionally unreliable.

All is well in the very rural swamp land of New Hampshire.

Not all Muslim soldiers are the same, what about Captain Kahn?

It took Michelle Malkin in her post Not all U.S. Muslim soldiers are equal to start to go where I first feared to tread but sure wanted to. I am talking about Muslim Captain Humayun Khan who died in battle and whose father was the star of the Democrat convention.

Khizr Kahn, Trumps nemesis of the week, just who is he?

Honestly, it was and is hard for me to believe with a family as radical as we have learned the father to be that the son would be willing to kill other Muslims and have the wrath of Allah come down upon himself. No virgins for him. Michelle is careful to step away from the question of the loyalty of the son. But I’m not. But in the end no one will look into the son loyalty. We will assume him to be a loyal American. Perhaps we should. But let’s look at some of the other loyal Muslims who have entered our Military. Starting with our “work place violence” fellow Hasan. Here we go with Malkin:

Don’t take my word for it. Just re-read the ignored warnings issued by Muslim soldier Nidal Hasan, the vengeful mass murderer who gunned down 13 service members — including a pregnant private first class who lost her life and her child — and wounded more than 30 others at Fort Hood in 2009.

Two years before his rampage, while a senior-year medical school resident in psychology, U.S. Army Major Hasan delivered a 50-slide PowerPoint presentation to classmates and military superiors at Walter Reed. It was titled “The Koranic World View As It Relates to Muslims in the U.S. Military.” Quoting chapter and verse, Hasan illuminated “what the Koran inculcates in the minds of Muslims and the potential implications this may have for the U.S. military.”

Hasan cited the Verse of the Sword (“I have been commanded to fight the people until they testify that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah”), explained “offensive” and “defensive” jihad and summarized the concept of “abrogation” — in which warring verses of the Quran trumped “peaceful verses.”

Traitor Hasan Akbar, the 326th Engineer Battalion Muslim-American soldier who lobbed stolen hand grenades and shot his M-4 automatic rifle into three tents filled with sleeping commanding officers at the 101st Airborne Division’s 1st Brigade operations center in Kuwait in 2003.

Capt. Christopher Seifert, 27, and Maj. Gregory Stone, 40, died during the fragging. Fourteen others suffered wounds from grenade shrapnel.

Willful blindness to a Muslim-American soldier’s fundamental internal conflict of loyalties led to those murders and injuries. Despite several incidents of insubordination and prior invocation of his Islamic beliefs to skip out of the 1991 Persian Gulf War, Akbar’s superiors sent him to Kuwait — and put him in charge of clearing land mines.

A decade later, in 2013, former Muslim-American Navy veteran Abu Khalid Abdul-Latif and an accomplice were convicted of plotting to kill officers and employees at a Seattle military recruiting center. The would-be killers wanted to retaliate against “the American military presence in the Middle East” and to prevent our troops “from going to Islamic lands and killing Muslims.” The co-conspirators cited Nidal Hasan’s Fort Hood attack as inspiration.

In March, U.S. Air Force vet and avionics weapons systems expert Tairod Nathan Webster Pugh, who declared himself a “Mujahid,” was convicted of providing material support to ISIS. Last spring, 22-year-old Army National Guard specialist Hasan Edmonds was arrested on his way overseas to join the Islamic State. He had plotted attacks on his Illinois National Guard Armory, police stations and courts.

Over the years, I’ve reported on many more of Allah’s soldiers in American uniforms, including:

–Army soldier Ali Mohamed, who pleaded guilty to conspiring with Osama bin Laden to “attack any Western target in the Middle East” and admitted his role in the 1998 African embassy bombings.

–Naval reservist Semi Osman, linked to a terrorist training camp in Oregon.

–Army reservist Jeffrey Leon Battle, who pleaded guilty to conspiring to levy war against the United States.

–Navy sailor Hassan Abu-Jihaad, convicted on espionage and material terrorism support charges after serving aboard the USS Benfold and sharing classified information with al-Qaida financiers, including U.S. ship movements prior to the USS Cole bombing in Yemen.

–U.S. Army Private First Class Naser Jason Abdo, who plotted to kill his fellow soldiers to “get even” with the military and strike at kafirs (non-Muslims).

The military’s Muslim chaplains program has been similarly compromisedby radical imams tied to the jihad-waging Muslim Brotherhood.

This is not “Islamophobia.” This is fact: Not all U.S. Muslim soldiers are equal. To deny the deadly risk is to enable it.

What no one is telling us about Fort Hood

This being the only handgun (i.e. concealable) designed to shoot rounds specifically intended to defeat soft body armor. No longer is the Ammo available to civilians.

Good question, how did he get the Ammo. How did he get this non-standard gun.  Better question. Fort Hood, a military base, and not one soldier had a gun? The Civilian Police had to come to the rescue?

Thanks go to Pamela Geller over at Atlas Shrugs for this story with update:Let me explain, even the Military does not teach the use of such weapons and does not have access to them for the reason that using such Ammo is against the Geneva Convention.

Major Muslim Hassan [Fort hood jihad] used an FNH 5.7×28 pistol. This is not a very well known weapon.  It fires a 5.7 mm,  40 gr bullet at a very high velocity, 2034 fps, giving a muzzle kinetic energy of 367 ft-lbs. (about the same as a 9mm ). This bullet has a polymer expanding tip, and due to the expansion of the tip and the high velocity, it leads to a tumbling expansible bullet which has a very destructive course.

This is not a weapon that a unknowlegeable person would even know. Someone who was a weapons expert told him what to buy. This involves more than Hassan. This is not the Islamic terrorism of just one man.  The same weapon had to  be used in the Seattle shooting of four police officers at the cafe. These officers had their Kevlar vests. It is inconceivable that these were all head shots. There is an armor-piercing version of this bullet that is restricted from civilians.  Someone supplied this version to the muslim assassin. This is more than just one man.

Terrorist at Fort Hood ‘I’m going to do good work for God’

Dear Leader: “Don’t jump to any conclusions.”

FBI knew Hasan tried to contact Al-Qaeda– Enough of this Political Correctness. What did the FBI know and who all knew??obama_muslim_garb

U.S. intelligence agencies were aware months ago that Army Major Nidal Hasan was attempting to make contact with people associated with al Qaeda, two American officials briefed on classified material in the case told ABC News.

Hasan attended same radical mosque as 9/11 hijackers; Update: “He was a typical fundamentalist Muslim”

I’m going to do good work for God

The words of Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, a few hours before authorities say he opened fire on fellow soldiers at Ft. Hood, Texas, killing 13 and wounding 29. The Washington Post reports Hasan made the statement to a neighbor in his (Obama in Muslim Garb)

apartment building on the morning of the killings. Hasan reportedly told the woman he was leaving for Afghanistan soon, when in fact he was headed, heavily armed, to Ft. Hood. As a parting gift, he gave her a copy of the Koran.

Meanwhile Obama: ‘We cannot fully know’ motive of Ft. Hood shooter; in address on killings, president celebrates diversity of armed forces. Really?? President Obama says “we cannot fully know” what led Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan to kill 13 people and wound 38 others at Fort Hood, Texas Thursday. Guess what– we don’t have to fullly know- enough P.C. Lots of luck with the 70 virgins.

“Allahu Akabar!Massacre at Fort Hood; Feds tracked Hasan’s posts online for six months?

FORT HOOD, Texas – Soldiers who witnessed the shooting rampage at Fort Hood that left 13 people dead reported that the gunman shouted “Allahu Akbar!” before opening fire, the base commander said Friday. It is reported that his parents emigrated  from Palestine.

Here is the video of Hasan

Hasan came to the attention of law enforcement officials because of Internet postings about suicide bombings and other threats, including posts that equated suicide bombers to soldiers who throw themselves on a grenade to save the lives of their comrades. So, Obama, Are you gonna blame Bush on this one?

The $64,000 questions: What was he doing at Fort Hood among the population if he thought suicide bombers were heroes? And why are the feds tipping the AP about this if they haven’t even confirmed that he was the author yet?

Update: Another good question from Andy Levy: “If Hassan got poor performance evaluations, why was he promoted to Major in May?” Also, why didn’t they grant him a discharge if what his cousin said is true about him not wanting to deploy since 9/11? Why did they keep this guy around? Fox could track down Terry Lee in a few hours to have him talk about Hasan urging Muslims to stand up to America, but the Army couldn’t do it in a few years?http://hotair.com/archives/2009/11/05/breaking-massacre-at-fort-hood/
