Luther Strange RUNS from DACA Amnesty Questions UPDATE!

Battle of the titans. The Establishment v. the regular guy? It is a strange GOP race in Alabama – no pun intended – as the GOP establishment swirls around Trump’s support for Luther Strange who is the temp guy for Session’s seat, and Judge Roy Moore. The rising political star of Judge Roy Moore in Alabama is another surprise in a political season defined by the unexpected and the unconventional.

UPDATE: More on Luther Stranger here.

Luther Strange Lobbied for Trade Deal That Drained Thousands of Alabama Jobs to Honduras, Mexico

Back to the original post:

On Aug. 15, Moore finished ahead of Senator Luther Strange in a primary election to pick the Republican candidate who will run in November’s general election to fill the seat of former Senator Jeff Sessions. Sessions vacated the seat to become the nation’s attorney general.

Sen. Luther Strange is running from questions about his possible support for the Democrats’ huge “Dreamer” amnesty, which would provide citizenship to at least 3.3 million illegals and also cut wages in his home state of Alabama.

Strange’s campaign website ducks the high-profile issue, saying only that:

It is our duty to uphold and enforce immigration law. Individuals who enter our country illegally should not receive the benefits that taxpaying Americans do. Immediate deportation of criminal aliens, building President Trump’s border wall, and cutting off funding for sanctuary cities are all effective means to enforce America’s laws and strengthen its borders.

Enforcing immigration law is also crucial to protecting Americans from terrorists seeking entry into our country under false pretenses. Luther Strange stands with President Trump and supports banning refugees in terrorist countries from entering our borders.

One Alabama constituent received a similarly evasive answer, according to a report in Alabama Today:

Jack Kemp of Fosters, Ala. posted Strange’s email response on his Facebook page Tuesday, concerned that the Senator supports the Dream Act as he did not outright refute it in the email.

The reported response from Strange’s office says “Currently, this [amnesty] bill is in the Senate Judiciary Committee. I do not serve on that committee, but if this bill comes to the Senate floor for debate and a vote, I will keep your views in mind.” The Facebook post did not say Strange would oppose a DACA amnesty.

Strange offered a similarly vague description of his DACA-amnesty views in a radio ad which criticizes Judge Roy Moore, his primary rival, for not knowing about the “dreamer’ program. The radio ad declared that Strange “is proud to stand beside President Trump who understands how serious it is to stop illegal immigration and enforce our nation’s laws.” The ad did not say that Strange would oppose a DACA amnesty. Paul Ryan out on the stump supporting Gang of Eight amnesty

Let Paul Ryan know that the only way for those to “get right with the law” is to leave the country. This is why the GOP represents none of the hard-working Americans who are tired of supporting all of the “tired, and poor.” Apparently he hasn’t gotten the message.

While discussing the new GOP agenda at a CNN town hall yesterday, Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wisc.) repeated his support for a Gang of Eight type amnesty of offering work permits to illegal aliens currently living in the U.S.

“And then those people who need to get right with the law, give them a way to earn their way, through fines, through penalties, learn English, civics, reapply a policy of assimilation, so that they can get a work permit to work,” responded Speaker Ryan when asked about illegal immigration.

At the same time, he acknowledged that current immigration visa numbers hurt American workers. “I think we should give visas based on what the economy needs, so that we’re make sure people aren’t taking jobs that Americans can take, Americans can fill,” he continued.

This confirmation comes after the House, under Speaker Ryan’s leadership, passed last year’s omnibus bill that quadrupled the number H-2B visas and funded Pres. Obama’s DACA amnesty program and the president’s increase to the refugee resettlement program.

Appeals court slap Obama again on Amnesty. Upholds Texas Injunction

The good news is that the courts are holding tough on Obama when we finally get a hearing. Whether it be FOIA requests, or making the long march to the Supremes. Thank you Texas. First a reminder and then on the latest appeals court ruling

Supreme Court slaps Obama down unanimously once again

Once again the entire Supreme Court knocks down the Obama administration. Funny, this didn’t seem to make the news. This adds up to over 20 unanimous decisions that went against him. His two Supreme picks apparently are not so ready to move to a totalitarian government.

Back to the good news:

A federal appeals court upheld an injunction against President Obama’s new deportation in a ruling Tuesday that marks the second major legal setback for an administration that had insisted its actions were legal.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit ruled in favor of Texas, which had sued to stop the amnesty, on all key points, finding that Mr. Obama’s amnesty likely broke the law governing how big policies are to be written.

“The public interest favors maintenance of the injunction,” the judges wrote in the majority opinion.

NYC thinking about amnesty for one Million open warrants

Finally back at the Bunker. During the trip had my computer stolen. This $175.00 ASUS laptop doesn’t cut it after my Mac! Anywho, hope my readers are still hanging in. This short post ought to get the blood moving about. NYC is going to get the best of the Progressive movement. Enjoy the crime.

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Police Commissioner Bill Bratton is behind a controversial proposal to grant amnesty to more than 1 million people with open warrants for low-level offenses.

But some experts worry it could cause crime to skyrocket.

First he called for reduced penalties for smoking marijuana. Now, Bratton wants to explore granting amnesty to 1.2 million city residents with open warrants for low-level offenses, people who run the risk of being arrested for failing to resolve tickets for drinking in public, disorderly conduct and the like, CBS2’s Marcia Kramer reported Monday.

There is one statistic that shows the magnitude of the problem. Last year, of the hundreds of thousands of tickets that were given out for low-level offenses, fully 40 percent of the people either skipped the proceedings or didn’t show up, Kramer reported.

DREAM act hidden in H.R. 5281 aka Removal Clarification Act of 2010? UPDATE:2

Looks like Comrade Matrix may have jumped the gun on this baby. Matt is on the job. Looks like it might be a bit of confusion at this point. Hey, anything is possible with this zombie congress. Check out Matrix’s comment in the comments section and quote from Michelle Malkin which clarifies the situation.

Haven’t seen or heard anything about this in the media, so Comrade Matrix figured to let this link circulate.  We’ve elected a bunch of spineless worms to replace malevolent beasts, so don’t expect any improvement in immigration policy coming from Washington any time soon.

The DREAM act, or backdoor amnesty may  be dead in the form of the “official”DREAM act, but another bill that has already passed the House called the “Removal Clarification Act of 2010″  may accomplish what the DREAM Act  intended to do. I haven’t heard a peep about this bill anywhere in the media. Since the jackwagons in Congress don’t bother reading bills themselves,  check out some of the wording in this bill:http://69.84.25.250/blogger/post/DREAM-act-hidden-in-HR-5281-aka-Removal-Clarification-Act-of-2010.aspx

Obama promotes Amnesty for illegals in order to receive Big Government healthcare

In his State of the Union address, Obama promised that the Health Care Reform bill will not cover illegal immigrants. The catch phrase here is “illegal”. As Obama parades around the country campaigning for the government takeover healthcare bill, he is pushing for amnesty to cover the 12 million illegals that are currently living the United States today.

Joe Wilson was right. It was a lie.

….”If anything, this debate underscores the necessity of passing comprehensive immigration reform and resolving the issue of 12 million undocumented people living and working in this country once and for all.”
