By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using any part of our website located at https://brownscow.com, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them.
2. Description of Services
Brownscow provides:
- A subscription-based recipe platform offering professionally developed recipes with full step-by-step instructions, nutritional information, and technique guides
- An online store for kitchen tools and accessories
- A blog with cooking tips, ingredient guides, and technique articles
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our services at any time with reasonable notice.
3. User Accounts
To access premium content, you must create an account. You agree to:

- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

4. Subscriptions and Billing
Plans and Pricing
We offer Monthly ($9.99/month) and Annual ($59.99/year) subscription plans. Prices are in US Dollars and inclusive of applicable taxes where required by law.
Automatic Renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You may cancel auto-renewal at any time from your account dashboard.
Free Trial
Annual plans include a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial period ends. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid charges.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. You retain access to premium content until then. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial periods except as described in our Refund Policy.
Price Changes
We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Price changes take effect at your next renewal date. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new price.
5. Store and Product Purchases
When purchasing physical products from our store:
- All prices are in US Dollars
- We ship within the United States only (international shipping coming soon)
- Standard shipping is $7.99; free on orders over $75
- Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the carrier
- We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers
- Product descriptions are provided in good faith but may contain errors; we reserve the right to correct errors and cancel affected orders with a full refund
6. Content and Acceptable Use
All recipes, articles, images, and content on Brownscow are for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not:
- Reproduce, distribute, or publish our recipes or content without written permission
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access our content
- Share your account credentials with others
- Use our services to distribute spam, malware, or unlawful content
- Attempt to circumvent our paywall or subscription system
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of our website
Cooking involves risks. Always follow food safety guidelines, including safe cooking temperatures. Brownscow recipes are developed for general home kitchen use and individual results may vary based on equipment and ingredients.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on Brownscow — including but not limited to recipes, text, photographs, graphics, logos, and software — is the property of BROWN SADDLE LLC or its content licensors and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
The Brownscow name, logo, and related marks are trademarks of BROWN SADDLE LLC. You may not use our trademarks without prior written consent.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use our content for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
8. Disclaimers
Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Nutritional information is estimated and may not be accurate for all ingredient brands, quantities, or preparation methods. This information is not medical or dietary advice. Consult a qualified professional for personalised dietary guidance.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BROWN SADDLE LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use our services, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or profits.
Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
You waive any right to participate in a class-action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
