Welcome back haters! If you’re reading this, then you are formally invited to participate in the second annual Hater Club Movie Challenge™️!!

Let's run it back for 2026 with some new prompts mixed in with a few faves. Please note: this is not a challenge to hate on films... it’s a year long descent into Lynchian nightmares, losers, goblincore vibes, sigma females, Yakuza violence, dark and absurd comedies, unholy rituals, and even some sensual cinema with recommendations from ppl like Ari Aster, Gaspar Noé, Robert Eggers, and Letterboxd user Charli XCX. Finding your new favorite film is 99% guaranteed.
