Every film he has mentioned liking, seeing, or cited as inspiration in interviews. Started this series of lists because I love these artists' work and I think knowing what their influences are help understand and contextualize them better.
I watched Midsommar on a whim in 2019 after being underwhelmed by Hereditary, and it hooked me so much I watched it 4 more times in a 6-month period. And contrary to popular opinion, I loved Beau, and I liked Eddington immediately and it's already vindicated. I will always be seated for anything he makes.
