WELCOME!
For reasons that perhaps needn't be stated, I've spent the last couple of years thinking a lot about war, and it has inevitably shaped my viewing habits. To channel that, I'm launching a year-long challenge focused on war films and stories shaped by war: depictions of armed conflict, naturally, but also narratives of revolution, resistance, and resilience. If this resonates with you, I'd love for you to join - just share your list in the comments!

RULES OF ENGAGEMENT
1. Challenge starts Jan 1 and ends Dec 31 2026. Watch movies at your own pace, in any order you want. You're free to modify your list as you go along.
2. Shorts, TV-shows and rewatches are allowed. Documentaries can be chosen for basically any prompt, as long as you feel that it fits the specific prompt in question.
3. The "War"-tag is helpful, but not mandatory. Many relevant movies aren't tagged "War" on Letterboxd. If you find a movie that you feel fits a specific prompt, go for it.
4. Tag your lists and reviews WARx26
Most of the prompts are accompanied by lists that hopefully are varied enough to help you find something that is relevant for you. These are mere suggestions; feel free to explore other options!
Have fun, watch responsibly, and give peace a chance!
