FAQ

Do I need an initial consultation?

Yes. All new clients begin with an initial consultation prior to joining group sessions to ensure appropriate placement and individualised programming

Do I need prior experience?

No prior experience is required. Sessions are designed to meet you where you are with progressions and modifications provided to support safe, effective development over time.

Who are sessions suitable for?

Sessions are suitable for a wide range of people, from beginners through to those with previous training experience. The focus is on individualised progress within a small-group environment, with guidance tailored to your current ability and goals.

Do you collaborate with other healthcare practitioners?

Yes. We regularly collaborate with physiotherapists, chiropractors, osteopaths, massage therapists, GPs, and other allied health practitioners to support a collaborative approach to movement, rehabilitation and long-term wellbeing.

How often should I attend?

We recommend attending twice per week for best results. However, if once per week is more realistic for your schedule, consistency at that level will still support steady progress over time.

How do bookings and payments work?

The studio operates on a term-based model with small-group weekly sessions reserved in advance for the duration of each term. Enrolments are paid in advance to secure your place and casual attendance is not offered due to limited capacity.

Can I join mid-term?

Private sessions may be available depending on capacity and offer an opportunity to build familiarity with the method before joining a term intake. Alternatively, you’re welcome to join the waitlist for upcoming availability.

How many people are in each session?

Sessions are intentionally kept small to ensure a high level of attention, precision and instruction quality.

Can Pilates support injury or rehabilitation?

Yes. Sessions may be adapted to support rehabilitation, mobility and long-term strength, with a focus on controlled and intentional movement

Can I attend during pregnancy?

Yes. Pilates can be appropriately modified throughout pregnancy and the postnatal period.

Where are you located?

The studio is based in Gerringong, with many clients travelling from surrounding areas including Kiama, Berry, Jamberoo and across the South Coast.
