When I had covid and double pneumonia back in February, 2022, there was about a 24 hour period where I felt my body starting to shut down. I knew I was very, very ill, and while I’m not afraid of the afterlife because I know I’m going to be with Jesus, I was very anxious that I might have left things unsaid. Would my daughters remember everything I had taught them? Had I written enough down for them to refer back to? I have written some things directed towards them, but there are so many things I want them to remember. My Aspie-Girl leaving the nest (and the state!) has prompted me to write these things down.
It is June, 2022, and my Aspie-Girl has begun a new adventure moving to Florida. She is very happy and is so far doing amazing. In all the excitement of her new adventures, it is difficult for her to see that, someday, she will face some hard trials that will test her and stretch her faith.
Oldest ponders and ‘considers the cost’ extensively before making decisions and changes. She has goals and strong values, is fiercely loyal, deeply grounded, and willing to sacrifice for what is right.
May God continue to develop my daughters to be and become all He designed and created for them to be and become before the foundation of the world for His glory and His honor and their good.
These are the writings I have penned (typed), hoping and praying that, as they wake in the morning and lay their heads on their pillows at night, they will remember this:
