Construction, Skilled Laborer
The primary focus of this role will involve working with a team of skilled tradespeople to renovate, remodel, and build out commercial spaces. This position requires expertise in framing, drywall installation, and rough-in work, with a strong understanding of Ohio and Kentucky building codes. The majority of projects will focus on renovations rather than new construction.
Responsibilities
- Frame and install walls, ceilings, and structural elements for commercial remodeling projects.
- Install and finish drywall, ensuring a seamless and high-quality surface.
- Perform rough-in work for build-outs, ensuring compliance with local and state codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, ensuring accuracy in construction execution.
- Maintain job site organization, cleanliness, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades to complete projects efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with Ohio and Kentucky commercial building codes.
- Provide hands-on training and leadership to team members as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction, specializing in remodeling.
- Strong knowledge of Ohio and Kentucky building codes and regulations.
- Experience in framing, drywall installation, and rough-in work for commercial projects.
- Ability to work independently and manage projects with minimal supervision.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and train a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Traveling Painter
Baynum Solutions serves clients around the US (and occasionally abroad), so we are seeking skilled painters who are willing to travel domestically for weeks (sometimes months) at a time. Our travel painters typically report to project sites and work under direction of our existing foremen or project coordination staff, often in teams but occasionally for solo assignments. Travel projects may be several days in duration, often averaging 2-3 weeks, and at times opportunities arise for several months-long assignments. We work in some exciting destinations both on our commercial and amusement service sides, so for those who enjoy seeing new locales, this role will take you to places!
This position includes Travel Rate / Differential Pay Increases.

Baynum’s home town of Newport KY, as part of the Greater Cincinnati region, is in need of local area apprentice and skilled painters. For those without a painting background, our State of Kentucky approved registered apprenticeship program is an excellent path towards gaining skills needed to start your career. Waterpark Coatings Applicator
The primary focus of this role will involve working with a team of skilled coatings applicators using the latest technologies and materials to renovate, refurbish, coat and protect new and existing amusement and waterpark rides and slides.
Responsibilities
- Surface preparation according to (NACE and SSPC) standards for multiple substrates including fiberglass, concrete, and structural steel.
- Experience with commercial, industrial, marine coatings and proper application techniques
- Use of various types of spray equipment including HVLP & pneumatic, airless high pressure (internal & external mix configuration) and airbrush
- Fiberglass repair, ACMA Certified Composites Technician preferred
- Ability to travel
