If you are selected as a trainer, we’ll meet with you to learn more about your experience and expertise. If you are moved on to the next part of the process, you’ll be invited to join a panel or lead a training session at an upcoming Arena event.

Our curriculum and training materials are usually pre-developed, but you’ll have the opportunity to make adjustments to reflect your expertise, best practices, and unique perspective. In some cases, we collaborate with trainers to create new materials or make significant updates to our curriculum.

Yes, trainers who are training in a personal capacity are awarded an honorarium for training with Arena. Honorarium values vary depending on the number of sessions you train on and the kind of training you participate in. Trainers who are training on behalf of an organization are not awarded an honorarium.

The majority of Arena’s training events are virtual and held on Zoom. We periodically hold in-person training events.

Yes, typically for in-person events, Arena offers to cover travel and lodging expenses for Arena trainers who are training in a personal capacity. For trainers representing a partner organization, we will discuss the partnership terms before finalizing training details, including responsibilities related to travel expenses.

Typically, organizations that train or give demos at Arena events are engaged in a formal sponsorship or partnership agreement. Please email sponsors@arena.run and training@arena.run to discuss options.
