Watch the above video. He talks about the in-group vs. out-group dynamic and how we are able to dehumanize the out-group. One potential solution for this is to find some kind of in-group relationship with those in the out-group. In 300-600 words, write your own reflection, using the following questions as a guide:

• In what ways do you tend to divide your social life into in-groups and out-groups?
• What tends to create this barrier between in-groups and out-groups? (Socioeconomic class? Faith tradition? Language? Disability? Music preference?)
• What tends to break down such barriers?
• How would you create in-group affinity with those in your out-groups? How would you make it a universal thing so that you find kinship across all of humanity without exception?
