Think about your reading of Chapter 1 of Reclaimed and think back to the video above (Can a Facebook Post Cause a Genocide?) What accounts for the fact that the Nazis in the photo album seem so "normal"?
Key Concepts, Terms, and People
Dehumanization - The process of treating a human being as less than human. It happens by equating people with animals, thus denying human uniqueness, or by equating people with objects, thus denying their nature.
Genocide - Deliberate killing of a large group of people, especially on the basis of their nationality or ethnicity.
