Terms of Use
Membership Terms & Conditions
Last Update: July 31, 2025
These terms and conditions (the “Terms”) govern your Membership with the Association of Mature American Citizens, Inc., its affiliates, and subsidiaries (collectively, “AMAC”, “we”, “our”, “us”). Purchase or use of any AMAC Membership (“Membership”) at any time subjects the purchaser or user (“you,” “your,” “yours,” “their”, “Member”) to the provisions of these Terms, as amended from time to time. By enrolling or accepting enrollment as an AMAC Member, by written application, online form, or otherwise, or accepting any AMAC Membership Benefit, you agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions herein.
“Membership Benefits” for purposes of these Terms means any product, service, or promotion offered to you, promised to you, or provided to you by AMAC.
Membership benefits are also provided to your spouse, for such time as the marriage remains valid, if that spouse’s name is included in the enrollment form. Spousal benefits are complimentary, and AMAC reserves the right to revoke spousal benefits at any time for any reason without affecting the terms herein. All references to “you” or “Member” herein shall be deemed to include your spouse if said spouse avails him or herself of any benefit, and you shall be liable for your spouse’s adherence to these Terms or breach thereof.
1. Membership Benefits
A. Products & Services
We partner with third-party service providers (“Service Providers”) who provide benefits in the form of products and services to you. These products and services may include without limitation travel, cellular plans, entertainment, financial and insurance products as well as other services. In this case, we act as an intermediary between you and the Service Providers. Products or services that you purchase using your Membership are provided directly by the Service Provider, and are not offered to you by or on behalf of AMAC. We are not responsible for the actions or inactions of the Service Providers, their breach of contract, their failure to comply with any laws, or any intentional or negligent actions or omissions on the part of such Service Provider or Service Provider’s subcontractors, which may result in any loss, damage, delay, inconvenience or injury to you. In no event shall we be liable for any damages in connection with a product or service obtained by you from a Service Provider. We make absolutely no representations or warranties about any Service Providers or any products or services that they provide; all such representations and warranties that appear on any AMAC website or other materials are made by the Service Providers on their own behalf, and not by or on behalf of AMAC.
B. Promotions
We may from time to time provide information on discounts or promotions available to Members on Service Provider products and services. Promotional information is provided to Members as a courtesy and is based on information we receive from Service Providers. We make no representation or warranty that this promotional information is valid or current. All discounts and promotions are subject to the applicable terms and conditions of Service Providers. Not all promotions are available in all states. Taxes and other fees may apply to any Service Provider offer. Promotional information is subject to change at any time without notice. You agree that we are not liable for any failure of a Service Provider to honor a promotion or discount for any reason and any remedy you seek related to the foregoing shall be solely from the Service Provider.
C. AMAC Magazine
AMAC shall make commercially reasonable efforts to provide approximately 6 issues of AMAC Magazine per year to its Members. The magazines shall be delivered to Members at their home address on our records. Members must keep their address current with us to receive the magazine. AMAC makes no representations or warranties about any material in the AMAC Advantage Magazine, including the accuracy of any information provided. You agree not to rely on any information published by AMAC in the magazine. Advertisements in the AMAC Advantage Magazine are submitted and published by and on behalf of third party vendors. The terms of Section 1A apply to third party vendors as if such vendors were Service Providers. There may be instances in which the number or rate of magazines delivered deviates from AMAC’s expectations hereunder; no such deviation shall be a breach by AMAC or otherwise impact your obligations hereunder.
2. Other Provisions
A. Membership Information
You agree to submit and maintain accurate and current information in connection with your Membership. Such information includes name, address, email address, mobile and landline telephone number, and date of birth. You consent to AMAC calling or texting you on the telephone number you have provided using an autodialed and/or prerecorded or artificial voice message to provide you with transactional information regarding your Membership. You are not required to agree to receive prerecorded or artificial voice messages and, if applicable, calls to your wireless phone, as a condition of your Membership. You can change your account information by accessing AMAC.us and updating your profile. We cannot assume any liability for correspondence, mail or email that is lost, delayed, or misdirected. To obtain Membership benefits, the name on your Membership Card must match the name on your valid government issued identification. Membership dues and fees may change without notice.
B. Term; Automatic Renewal; Fees
Your annual Membership term will commence upon acceptance of your enrollment and will expire on the earliest of (i) the anniversary of the commencement date corresponding to the length of Membership [e.g. the 5th anniversary for a 5-year Membership], (ii) the death of the Member (“Expiration Date”), or (iii) termination by either party in accordance with the termination provisions below. The length of the Membership term is selected by you upon enrollment; if no such term is selected for any reason, the Membership term shall be 1 year by default.
Renewal Membership payment is due before your current Membership Expiration Date or else your Membership may be cancelled. A charge may be assessed for replacement Membership cards and returned checks.
If you have opted in for automatic renewal, the renewal period will commence on the Expiration Date under the terms and conditions herein. To the extent permissible by applicable law, Members must opt out of the renewal Membership prior to the commencement of the renewal period for the opt-out request to be valid.
You agree to pay the Membership fee in the amount provided at AMAC.us before receiving any Membership benefits. By selecting the automatic renewal option, you permit us to charge the dues for the renewal Membership period to the debit or credit card provided to us. We reserve the right to update or increase the Membership fees at any time upon notice to you; the change shall be effective upon the date stated within the notice. If you are in disagreement with the increase in Membership fees or other changes to these Terms, you may cancel your Membership at any time.
If the payment information provided is no longer valid at the time of renewal, AMAC may, at its discretion, cancel your Membership effective immediately, or renew your Membership and bill you for the fee for such renewal term.
C. Check Conversion to ACH
To improve processing efficiency and enhance financial security, the organization may convert certain paper checks received for payment into an Automated Clearing House (ACH) electronic transaction.
When a check is presented for payment, the banking information contained on the check (including the routing number, account number, and check serial number) may be used to initiate a one-time ACH debit from the payer’s bank account. Once the electronic transaction has been processed, the original paper check will not be deposited or processed as a paper item.
This process is commonly referred to as Electronic Check Conversion (ECC) and is conducted in accordance with NACHA Operating Rules and applicable banking regulations.
By submitting a check for payment, the payer authorizes the organization to:
- Convert the check into a one-time ACH debit transaction
- Use the information from the check to electronically debit the associated bank account
- Retain the check as a record of authorization
The amount debited electronically will be the same as the amount indicated on the check. If the electronic debit is returned unpaid, the organization may pursue re-presentment or alternative collection methods as permitted under applicable regulations.
D. Cancellation; Termination
(i) You may cancel your AMAC membership at any time by surrendering the membership card and submitting a letter of cancellation by mail. If your membership card is unavailable, the written, signed request will suffice.
The mailing address for membership cancellation is:
Association of Mature American Citizens, Inc.
5 Orville Dr, Suite 400
Bohemia, NY 11716
(ii) You may cancel your membership at any time by calling 888-262-2006 and speaking with member services.
(iii) We may terminate your Membership, without notice, for any reason, upon written notice to you.
(iv) Upon Membership termination, except for termination due to death of the Member, a pro rata refund of your annual dues will be made for each full month remaining on your membership. No refund shall be returned for any reason as a result of the cancellation of a lifetime Membership.

Any information we capture is subject to the AMAC Privacy Policy as amended from time to time. You may view the current version of the AMAC Privacy Policy at any time online at https://amac.us/privacy-policy/, or request a paper copy by submitting a request in writing. By purchasing a Membership or accepting any Membership Benefit, we may need to provide your information to third parties, including but not limited to Service Providers for the purposes of providing you Membership Benefits. It is important that you read the AMAC Privacy Policy thoroughly and opt out of any data sharing that you do not wish to participate in, to the extent that option is applicable to you.

AMAC AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES (EVEN IF AMAC AFFILIATES HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES).
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES OR THE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE OR OTHER DAMAGES. ACCORDINGLY, SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
H. Dispute Resolution & Class Action Waiver
Many disputes can be resolved simply by writing to us. We will work to resolve any dispute with you arising out of or relating to your Membership as expeditiously as possible. You agree to contact us in writing describing your dispute, and we will make effort to respond to you within 30 days. Please include with your correspondence any information that you would like us to consider. If we cannot resolve the dispute within 30 days, you agree to submit any and all disputes, including but not limited to claims for breach of contract, express or implied warranty, consumer protection claims, statutory violations of any kind, strict liability, negligence, misrepresentation and/or fraud (“Claims”), to binding arbitration pursuant to the Federal Arbitration Act (Title 9 of the United States Code). In so agreeing, you waive any rights to trial by jury with respect to such disputes. Any change shall take effect immediately, unless otherwise provided. You will be provided advance notice only to the extent that applicable law requires such notice for the respective change. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE WITH ALL OF THE PROVISIONS OF THESE TERMS AT THIS TIME OR AT ANY TIME, IMMEDIATELY CANCEL YOUR MEMBERSHIP PURSUANT TO THE TERMS HEREOF, AS ALL CONTINUED MEMBERSHIP SHALL BE GOVERNED BY THE THEN-MOST CURRENT TERMS AND YOU SHALL BE DEEMED TO ACCEPT SUCH TERMS BY CONTINUING SUCH MEMBERSHIP.
J. Assignment
Neither these Terms nor any of the rights, interests or obligations hereunder shall be assigned, directly or indirectly, whether voluntarily, involuntarily, by operation of law or otherwise, by any Member without the prior written consent of AMAC. Memberships and their associated Membership Benefits are not transferrable or assignable, and the Membership and Membership Benefit or promotion offered to a Member shall be voided upon any transfer, assignment, sale, or attempt thereof to a third party. Attempting to sell or otherwise profit from any Membership Benefit is strictly prohibited, and in such event AMAC reserves the right to pursue any remedies available to it at law or in equity.
