College is a place to discover new passions, meet new friends, and find yourself along the way. Are you looking forward to it but also feel a little nervous? You are not alone! Check out our handbook filled with advice from deaf and hard of hearing college grads, and quick tips to help you prepare & make the most of your experience.
Designed for young adults aged 18-40, we empower deaf or hard of hearing individuals to enhance AG Bell’s visibility, engage in global causes, lead in their communities, and expand their professional and social networks.
Zoom Hangouts aims to bolster a community of young adults who are deaf or hard of hearing and use listening and spoken language by providing networking opportunity through storytelling, advocating for self and others, learning new skills and discovering new cultures.
Undergraduates, graduate students and recent college grads seeking hands-on work experience can apply for an internship at AG Bell’s headquarters in Washington, D.C. Interns will contribute to our work as an international non-profit, and learn about marketing, communications, development, nonprofit management, philanthropy, goal-setting, public speaking and more! The internship application is posted in February and offers are extended in April each year.
