How to Email a Group of Artists ๐งโ๐จ ๐ฉโ๐จ ๐จโ๐จ
You can email all applicants in a status or group of statuses with ZAPP's Communication Tool. First, go to Events > Communication and choose your event.

Check the box next to the status or statuses you want to email. If you want to email all applicants, check Select All.
Choose if you want to narrow your recipient list down by including or excluding applicants you have tagged or flagged.
When the page reloads, you will be able to compose your email.
Enter information in the following fields:
From Name: Your name or organization.
Reply-To Address: The email address from which artists will respond to your message.
BCC: The recipients who will receive a blind copy of this message. Up to five emails can be included, separated by commas.
Send Copy: Check this box if you want a copy of the first email sent.
Template: Choose a saved template if you wish to auto-populate your message.
Subject Line: The subject line of your message. The only special characters allowed in this field are: โ# โ , . * / & ( ) + โ
Body: This is the contents of your email.
Check the merged data boxes to include any data within the email, including:
Your event logo (recommended)
Your event contact information (recommended)
Anonymous jury scores and comments
The artist waitlist number (if applicable)
The artist booth number (if applicable)
Preview your email. If you need to correct anything, click Go Back. If you're ready to send, click Send this Email.

How to Email an Individual Artist ๐ฉโ๐จ
You can email artists individually, through ZAPP, in three ways:
๐ By searching for the artist:
Click the Artists tab.
Type in the name of the artist you would like to email and click Search.
Click on their email address within the table that loads.
Compose, preview, and send your email.
From the Event Administration page:
In the Applications by Status table, click the number next to the status the artist is in.
Click on the email address of the artist you wish to email. (Note: The Email Address field must be selected in the Table Editor).
Compose, preview, and send your email.
From the Artist Citation page (the artist application):
Click on the artistโs email address at the top of the page.
Compose, preview, and send your email.
