Welcome to the Union 7th Grade Center

We welcome all seventh grade students and their parents!

Life As A 7th Grader

Our goal is to make this year stimulating and challenging academically, but also to provide a safe, comfortable environment for social and emotional growth.

Student Clubs

Union encourages all seventh graders to join a student club, athletics, spirit, drama, leadership, volunteering – well, it’s just the tip of the iceberg.

A Community School

The 7th Grade Center has been a Community School for more than 10 years. Community Schools is a concept sweeping the nation and is focused around extending the resources students have available at school and in their community, including after school programming.

English Learners

It is Union's mission to provide English Learners and Immigrant students a high quality program, designed to assist students in learning English and to meet challenging state academic content and student academic standards.

Fine Arts

Union Public Schools has one of the truly outstanding fine arts programs in the nation. A talented and dedicated staff, strong parental and community support, as well as the support of the administration and school board, have provided our students with a wide variety of opportunities to explore and develop their talents.

Union Finance Awarded Certificate of Achievement for Excellence In Financial Reporting By GFOA

For the 34th year in a row, Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) has awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting to Union Public Schools for its annual comprehensive financial report for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2025.

Early Childhood

Union provides a full-day, year-round program for eligible 3-year-olds, 4-year-olds and kindergarteners. Students learn language, fine arts, problem-solving and more.

STEM

Union offers a wide range of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math opportunities. Union was the 1st in Oklahoma, & among only a handful of districts nationwide, to offer STEM to students Pre-K through 12th grade.
