We welcome all seventh grade students and their parents!
Life As A 7th Grader
Our goal is to make this year stimulating and challenging academically, but also to provide a safe, comfortable environment for social and emotional growth.
Student Clubs
Union encourages all seventh graders to join a student club, athletics, spirit, drama, leadership, volunteering – well, it’s just the tip of the iceberg.
A Community School
The 7th Grade Center has been a Community School for more than 10 years. Community Schools is a concept sweeping the nation and is focused around extending the resources students have available at school and in their community, including after school programming.
English Learners
It is Union's mission to provide English Learners and Immigrant students a high quality program, designed to assist students in learning English and to meet challenging state academic content and student academic standards.
Fine Arts
Union Public Schools has one of the truly outstanding fine arts programs in the nation. A talented and dedicated staff, strong parental and community support, as well as the support of the administration and school board, have provided our students with a wide variety of opportunities to explore and develop their talents.

Union administrators have been participating in an all-day retreat today at POSTOAK Lodge & Retreat, 5323 W 31st St N, as they prepare for a new year.

Union Theatre Department: Because of community partners like Taste The World Photography, our students have opportunities to create, perform, learn, and grow.
Union Wrestling is excited to announce the return of Nic Roller to the Union Wrestling staff!

For the 34th year in a row, Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) has awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting to Union Public Schools for its annual comprehensive financial report for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2025.

Union Public Schools was one of 24 school districts that was honored June 4 as a “Breakthrough School” by the Oklahoma Public School Resource Center (OPSRC).

Congratulations to Union Girls Tennis Coach Tyler Ashley, who has been named a Most Positive Athlete Oklahoma Coach award winner by Positive Athlete.

As Union continues to emphasize the importance of regular attendance, our elementary schools are seeing some gains. Average daily attendance increased by 2.64 percent at Union elementary schools in 2025-26 compared with the previous year. Average daily attendance was 93.38 percent.

College & Careers
Union is committed to academic excellence. Ensuring all students graduate from high school, prepared for college or career success, guides our practice from Pre-K through 12th grade.
English Learners
Union provides English Learners a high-quality program, designed to assist students in learning English & to meet challenging state academic content & standards.
Early Childhood
Union provides a full-day, year-round program for eligible 3-year-olds, 4-year-olds and kindergarteners. Students learn language, fine arts, problem-solving and more.
STEM
Union offers a wide range of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math opportunities. Union was the 1st in Oklahoma, & among only a handful of districts nationwide, to offer STEM to students Pre-K through 12th grade.
Community Schools
Union's effective Community Schools model means increased attendance, reduced mobility, & improved academic success because of our partnerships.
Hope-Guidance-SEL
Union is a hope-centered district, using hope as a lens to guide our work. The goal is to foster greater confidence in students’ lives in a positive, affirming school environment.
