"In working with families of wealth I often am asked how to best engage the next generation. I am fortunate to have completed the 21/64 Approach Training and have the What Am I Inheriting? tool available to me. In one particular instance, I was able to sit with the parents and put together their family timeline. We then used this in a meeting with their adult children. Since the parents had initiated the discussion, the children felt comfortable asking questions about family events to their parents. They had a very robust, lively and fun conversation about their family. So much so that the children began to add items to the timeline that the parents were then able to ask questions about.
