Authenticity is a collection of choices that we have to make every day.
It’s about the choice to show up and be real.
The choice to be honest.
The choice to let our true selves be seen.

Hello Caro:) I can feel my heart beating a little fast and feel an unearthing of some emotion I can’t quite name. I have been here reading your words for quite some time now. Following you back in time and back further absorbing your questions, the poetry, the revelations and always more questions. You are a beautiful person deep and soulful seemingly by your very nature. I’m now feeling a little discombobulated. Time feels like the friend and the enemy of my life. I wish I had found you long ago my Caroletté. I am very happy to know you now and will take to heart this Brene Brown quote. I will show up, be my truest self to the best of my ability and let myself be seen. I hope you continue to do the same with your art, showing us who you are. I would like all to see your inner beauty and to appreciate the courage and effort you put towards being your best self. you are such a gift my Caro.
Your words have entered me like a tidal wave…
It’s funny…by writing about self and intimate issues, I should be expecting the kind of authentic and heartening comments you just wrote…and yet…I feel surprised and even more vulnerable…which are all lovely emotions as I feel safe with you… Thank you dear Robin! for your kindness and friendship and generosity…I am too so so grateful that we’ve met…
This blog has definitely helped me to stay on my track…a bit like a compass… (it’s been forgotten a bit, in the bottom of my pocket, but still present…I feel it there, under my fingers). I am grateful of those many learning curves…and now can experience some sort of integrated strength… (which will disappear in one instant, i know!)
I had to check ‘discombobulated’…what a word!!!
Time and distance are always the friend and the enemy…I can try to damn them but it won;t help much.
Yes let’s continue to show up and create more art!!
You are too a gem dear Robin!
