Promotional videos

Blue Diamond Industries
In 2024, Blue Diamond Industries—a manufacturer of HDPE conduit for communications and energy cable – opened a new factory in Ogden, Utah. They hired Avalanche Studios, a video production service based in Ogden, to shoot footage of the factory and its employees, as well as drone footage and b-roll of downtown Ogden. They hired yesIsaid to edit that footage in to a short promotional video to announce the opening of the new facility.

Bandy Ranch Floral
During of the course of my work with Bandy Ranch Floral—a family-run, sustainable flower farm that supplies flowers and greenery to markets and professional designers across the US—yesIsaid had the opportunity to create a three-minute marketing video that tells the story of the company, its staff, and its products. In addition to editing the video, Dan also wrote and recorded an original narration.

Goethe-Institut
Goethe-Institut Chicago tapped yesIsaid to create a promotional video for a large performance festival in Chicago called Between Gestures. Produced in partnership with the Cultural Services of the Consulate of France in Chicago (as well as a panoply of co-sponsors and partners), the 10-day festival featured performances, conversations, film screenings, and master classes at locations.

Bill MacKay
“Powder Mill Park”
In March of 2017, Bill MacKay and I traveled to Midewin National Tallgrass Prairie to film a video for Powder Mill Park, a track from Esker, his debut release on Drag City Records. We spent the windy, sunny day shooting introspective footage of Bill exploring the decommissioned munitions bunkers that pepper the Midewin landscape.

Wayfaring
“And Yet Hope”
Wayfaring is the Seattle-based duo of Katie Ernst and James Falzone. In 2017, they commissioned yesIsaid to create a music video for the debut track from their album I Move, You Move on James’s Allos Documents imprint. The video was shot in Chicago’s Steelworker’s Park.
