XGSLab is an engineering simulation suite developed by SINT Ingegneria Srl for the analysis and design of grounding (earthing) systems, lightning protection, and electromagnetic interference and compatibility. It enables engineers to model complex conductor networks in realistic, multilayer soil conditions; evaluate ground potential rise; calculate step, touch, and transferred voltages; study fault and lightning current distribution; and assess electromagnetic coupling to nearby lines, pipelines, and communication systems.
Designed for practical design workflows, XGSLab offers frequency- and time-domain analysis, clear visualization of fields and potentials, and comprehensive reporting to support safety verification and compliance with international standards and guidelines (such as IEEE, IEC, and EN). Utilities, consultants, and industrial operators across power, rail, and oil and gas sectors use XGSLab to optimize earthing systems, confirm safety criteria, and plan effective mitigation measures including bonding, shielding, and gradient control.
XGSLab is developed by SINT Ingegneria Srl and is used by 1 user of Software Informer. The most popular versions of this product among our users are: 10.0, 10.3, 2024.1, 2025.1 and 2026.1. The names of program executable files are XGSLab.exe, XGSLabLicenseManager.exe.
