- Goldman Sachs pushed an alert about ANYCOLOR to Bloomberg terminals. For those of you unfamiliar with how this works, financial analysts are paid to look at news events like famine, wars, and democratic rebellions from the lens of profit alone.
- Replying to @StrawberryCan_DI don't know when it came out so I put it in the funniest place
- Replying to @weebcasaI personally find it extremely funny but I know in my heart of hearts that they shit this out in like 5 minutes and moved onto the next weird niche price movement of the week
- Replying to @weebcasa2 days later, ANYCOLOR is down -11.16% compared to the Nikkei 225 index. In market cap terms, this is a wipeout of ~28 billion JPY or $189 million USD. Negligible, huh.
- Replying to @aoki_mnzI believe your read of it is correct. Their 3 point reasoning is very good.
- So far Selen's termination is worth somewhere around ~2.5% of ANYCOLOR's market cap: around 6 billion JPY or ~$40 million USD. Nikkei 225 and COVER charted for comparison.
- Replying to @LLightmusicband1. Strictly yes 2. This is the beginning of something correlated with Selen's contract termination, but it is way too early to characterize it in any other way except via financial stats 3. Previous graduations have not lead to selloffs this large
- I had this in the tank for later, but I think now is a good time: do you know about the job listing for a minimum wage, part-time, Nijisanji English Content Quality Staffer? If you didn't know about it, buckle up. This one's a ride. open.talentio.com/r/1/c/ichikara…

- Replying to @weebcasaSo ANYCOLOR wants students who can only sort of understand English to be paid a minimum wage, part time job to screen Nijisanji EN's digital content. This listing is a bit of an enigma. What kind of ideas and process leads to a job description like this?
- Replying to @weebcasaCome back tomorrow for more charts, but in the meantime, please refer to Andrew Dice's thread on how a "negligible" investor comms manifested as a sustained selloff.Oh god dammit, I *need* to get back to work, AND I want to another followup long-thread, but Anycolor just keeps dropping bazingas that I can't help but marvel at. So, an hour or two ago, they dropped this wonder on their Investor Relations page:
- Replying to @deadhardware and @aoki_mnzI don't disagree, but I also want to emphasize that this notice is addressing upcoming quarterly earnings impact and not really the foreseeable growth prospects of the company.
- Replying to @weebcasaThe Japanese-language PDF of the "it's not a big deal" statement shows that it was exported from a Word document at around ~3pm JST yesterday. That's market close so this is actually a completely fair place to put the annotation
