- If the temperature reaches 100 degrees, you can take TriMet to a cooling center, even if you cannot afford fare. On buses, please tell the operator as you come on board that you’re heading to a cooling center.
- Reminder: TSA has extended the mask requirement on board transit through May 3. We’re aware that the Justice Department is reviewing a court decision about the mask mandate, but masks are still required on board for now. Masks are available on all our buses and trains 😷
- President Joe Biden will be in Portland on Friday and Saturday. MAX and bus service will be disrupted in Downtown Portland from 6 a.m. Friday through as late as 6 p.m. Saturday, due to security surrounding his visit.
