A thread on common misconceptions from pro-choice advocates.
    Replying to @DeadBabyFeet @leapsaw and 2 others
So many common falsehoods to address. 1) A human being is ALWAYS a human being. That's not controversial. What you're describing is "personhood", which applies subjective standards (these vary significantly) a human must meet before attaining protection of their human rights.

It's a beautiful family. ❤ They look happy & healthy. I'm impressed they got the picture with everyone looking at the camera. 🙃

Nobody is against reproductive healthcare. Be honest. We disagree on the morality of killing our youngest humans at will despite no wrong doing on their part and their bearing no responsibility for their situation.

Incidentally, the materialistic culture that has all of us on smartphones & computers does more environmental damage than having a certain number of kids. Easy to criticize others for different choices - harder to evaluate yourself. Set an example & make some sacrifices yourself.

This is what abortion advocacy has done for women. Many believe: ▪︎ D&C is equivalent to abortion ▪︎ Every miscarriage requires an immediate D&C or they will die ▪︎ Every pregnancy complication requires abortion or they will die ▪︎ Every pregnancy is life-threatening

My case required an abortion, Jim. An abortion is called a d&c. There’s nothing about the procedure that changes whether it’s done before or after birth. So it absolutely is related to abortion. I’m sorry, you’re ignorant about the nitty gritty details; perhaps you could learn.

Just a social worker in Canada who works in a long term care facility and believes anyone over 75 should be MANDATED to participate in MAID. How many clients has he coerced to "choose" suicide? How can he ethically work with a population he thinks shouldn't be "kept around"?

Pregnancy is not a violation of human rights. Because Female biology is not a violation of human rights. Because Human biology is not a violation of human rights. And Normal female biology is normal human biology. #ProLife

Parents are also in charge of their children's medical decisions and legal issues. 😉

Wow. That's one way to encourage the 5 year old not to be "a handful". 😥 If a woman doesn't want to be pregnant she can avoid pregnancy (outside of rape). Ending the child's life to avoid being a parent is no kinder before birth than after.

Why do abortion advocates insist on describing women as livestock if abortion is limited to medical necessity? Why do they dehumanize women by assuming women to be inherently equivalent to livestock? Abortion advocacy is premised on misogyny.

This article is intended to stoke fears in support of abortion, @AP. It's expected for infant mortality to increase when children with fetal anomalies are not killed in utero via elective induced abortion. Those children's deaths are recognized rather than erased & ignored.
Infant mortality rate rose 8% in wake of Texas abortion ban, study shows apnews.com/article/aborti…

The abortion industry was hoping for women to die in states with abortion limits so they could push for the extreme laws they want. That hasn't happened. PR strategy: twist stories to focus blame on the law Ex: This TN woman who lost her fertility due to a botched abortion

A D&C is not an abortion. A D&C can be used for many things, including addressing issues for non-pregnant women. No law bans D&Cs. Abortion is the termination of pregnancy. Natural termination is a miscarriage. There is no law against miscarriages or treatment for miscarriage.

Abortion advocacy relies on ignorance and lies. Delivering a stillborn fetus isn't prohibited anywhere, before or after Roe. Delivering a deceased fetus isn't an abortion. A deceased fetus will not develop further, so there is no "to term" future milestone. #ReThinkAbortion
Before Roe v. Wade, I was forced to carry my dead stillborn baby boy in my womb for 3 months to term. As his flesh disintegrated, it poisoned my bloodstream, and I almost died! It was considered illegal to induce labor, even to save my life. WE CAN’T GO BACK FLORIDA!
