- Thanks to @vifindia I presented a copy of my book ‘The Pashtuns:A Contested History’ to the visiting Afghan Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi.
- Given what is happening in Balochistan today just felt like skimming through my book.
- India needs to be scared. The great mujahid is heading towards Sialkot to fix the Hindus.
- Asim Munir’s elevation to Field Marshal is surprising. Rank of Field Marshal is normally conferred after military victory. This will probably be the first time that the rank has been conferred after a defeat! But this is #Pakistan! Done to mask the defeat.

- Gen Bajwa's saying 'Lets bury the past' means in Punjabi 'mitti pao', i.e India should forget all about Pak sponsorship of terrorism, forget Mumbai, Pathankot, Uri, Pulwama and everything else. But Pakistan, of course, will not forget Kashmir.
