Saw a car pulled off the road at the front of our property. Figured nothing of it.
We pulled out of the driveway 10 min later and THEY HAD CUT 90% OF OUR SUNFLOWERS AND WILDFLOWERS DOWN for bouquets. My husband politely confronted them & they laughed it off.

- Replying to @ewahlwriting2 British old ladies, apparently. So mad every time I pulled out of my drive now, all flowers are gone.
- I mean, is there anything better than lilacs bouquets in every room of the house?
- We do have a few on each corner of our property and the driveway. They don't do much tbh. People don't care.
- Replying to @LadiJ16 and @ewahlwritingThey've got to go. Should've done a citizens arrest and made them reseed the entire length of road.
- Replying to @Tribble_BaitMy husband is also a better person than me. I'm wholeheartedly sorry for your loss and I appreciate the comment. I agree with you completely. Women have a "justice" itch we gotta scratch, sometimes, for minor things. Good men see the bigger picture.
- Replying to @NSanctificationYou're correct. It wasn't a cultivated garden. It was an unfenced area of our property that borders a busy road. I've scattered flower seeds every year in an attempt to make it pretty for passersby. We do have no trespassing signs, but I'm sure they weren't looking too hard.
- "It's too hard." "It's so much work." "I just get my food at the grocery store." "I don't have the time." "I don't have the space." "I don't know how." Blah blah blah. Seeds, compost, water. Repeat. Nature is magic.
- OLD ME SPENDING MONEY: mani/pedi, a new shade of lipstick, houseplants, cute boots for Fall, cashmere, Italian tile. NEW ME SPENDING MONEY: generator, seeds, baby chicks, fuel storage tanks, freeze dryer, jars and lids, candles, log splitter, iodine/selenium, a 3rd freezer.
- All that "grass fed" beef you're paying a few extra dollars for at Whole Foods. It's grain finished. Just like it always has been. They just changed the name and charged you more.
- A just ok haul for a 12 ft bed. Almost 50 pounds. Didn't add fertilizer or amendment. Just cut up seed potatoes and watered. Nature is magic.
- A friend had her baby at home overnight. She woke up at 3am, contractions began at 330, baby in her arms at 415. Fastest labor I've ever heard. Wild.
- That is such a lovely delicate flower, I couldn't imagine picking it. My mom grew magnificent gardenias but they didn't look anything like yours. Wow.
