Great news! i have confirmed the y-haplogroup of Nader Shah the founder of the Afsharid Dynasty of Iran. A member of the Qirqlu clan of North Khorasan who shares a paternal ancestor with him, tested his haplogroup. It will be revealed later today in the relevant DNA Projects
It currently seems plausible that he will be under the branch of a Medieval Turkic sample from Kazakhstan. So far only 1x Azerbaijani from the region of Karabakh has been tested under this general clade (O-M268)
DNA result of Iranian singer/internet personality Pouyan Mokhtari. Despite being a proud Bakhtiari Lur on both sides his paternal origins turned out to be related to turkic peoples. The haplogroup so far in Iran only was observed in an Afshar Azeri and a turkmen from Golestan.

Note: the map is based on G25 which is not scientific. Realistic percentages might vary a little. Don't take it literal.
Current data from individual results from various tribes associated with the larger Afshar tribe.
If you know more results, send them to me so I can add them in a future update.
