A member of the Qirqlu sub-tribe of the Afshar confederacy had tested on FTDNA. @takanodan11 was then made aware of this, and he reached out via email to confirm the relation. The tester in question has a common patriline ancestor with Nader, in Nader's paternal grandfather.

New Bakhtiari yDNA result acquired via the Iranic Genomes Project as a result of full sequencing of the Y Chromosome. The result is: J2a-M47 -> BY144360 The individual's DNA however is still in processing so these are only preliminary results.
