    You gotta ask yourself what these men deem as mature. Being groomed into having a sexual persona/singing mainly sexual lyrics about your groomer is considered mature, but exploring death, self loathing/development, love, mental health is not? Why do you rank women by sexuality?

    Eh nah. This has more to do with how white women choose to infantilize themselves while Black women have no choice but to be adultified. Beyoncé’s debut (at 22) sounded more mature than Taylor’s 10th album (at 32).

    i mean technically doja is dealing with internalised racism, it's still shit but... whereas lana's statements are part of a bigger systemic issue, the sentiments of which lead to black women dying more cus medical professionals think we're 'stronger' than 'delicate' yt women.

    Taylor literally has more dark themes in her music than most of the pop women right now but the non fans who still see her as 16 year old are hellbent on saying she intentionally pushes an image of naive youthful innocence. No you’re just not paying attention so don’t speak?
