    However—and I know you know, but I think it has to be added—that doesn’t mean the immune system can‘t be trained and thus improved. That’s what vaccines are for. Sparring partners to upskill & prepare it for infections, instead of sending it into war to „learn or die“ on the job.

    It’s not just that it’s comfortable—one typical symptom of depression is the loss of motivation to do stuff, and that includes the motivation to seek or accept help. It, like almost all other things, just doesn’t seem worth it anymore. Super evil vicious circle…
