I'm stunned and grateful to receive a Peabody, especially as an independent! Thank you to the people of Hardwick for your patience, and thank you most of all to @hellotarareese, whose insights are transcendent, and ongoing courage is remarkable. #PeabodyWinner #StoriesThatMatter

    Replying to @PressSec45 and @PressSec
That is patently absurd. How do you do it Sarah? How do you get up in the morning and do it?

I am deeply honored to be on this list with so many gorgeous makers of things. As an independent producer I did not believe this was even possible. Thank you @PeabodyAwards. And thanks to the remarkable people of Hardwick #VT for allowing me to make this story with you.

My son was looking for free golf clubs on Front Porch Forum, which if you're not from VT, it's a kind of community online message board. This is what he got. The ultimate barter.

Thank you @asarahlarson for this incredible honor and for your incisive, thoughtful writing. More than once now you've described a show I try hard to make, and it feels amazing for these efforts to be seen. The Best Podcasts of 2022 newyorker.com/culture/2022-i… via @NewYorker

I never really felt how stark and funny and terrifying it is to be a family of 2 for 18 years until I dropped my son at college. I didn’t know that ‘letting go’ is something you can actually feel in your chest.

Thank you @uugwuu and @nytimes. I'm honored. And I love the way you describe how small, local stories can shine out. That they can be somehow universal. I'm dreaming of a future full of independent podcasts reporting weird local stories from everywhere! nytimes.com/2022/12/08/art…

What an honor. Thank you. Our Show was a collaboration with listeners who I don't know but who I feel profoundly close to. I felt lucky every second I was making it. My thanks to @McQuadeEric @LJStandley + my brilliant partners @BrounSamantha @transom

This is a story about a boy called Finn Rooney who loved to fish and play baseball and write poetry and embroider. And it's a story about what happens to a small Vermont community as it staggers forward after an unspeakable loss.rumblestripvermont.com/2021/11/finn-a…

Thank you for sharing this story @Radiolab. I'm very honored.
This week, we're sharing the story, "Finn and the Bell," from the podcast @rumblestripvt. It is a story about a death, but as so many of the best stories about death tend to be, it ends up mainly being about life. And it tore our hearts out. Listen here: bit.ly/3NmfbQR
