- As a person who grew up on José Mourinho & Rafa Benitez backs to the wall defensive masterclasses to get to 4 Champions League finals combined, I cannot stand this elitist view of football needing to be played in one way. They do not know what Champions League heritage is.
- Brilliant news. Medical team quickly detected that his heart had stopped, then administered early CPR & got the defibrillator out on the pitch quickly. They gave him the best chance of being resuscitated. Unreal work from everyone involved 👏👏👏
- This moment existing is absolutely insane. My head can’t process how pre-ordained it is. Like something out of a movie.Messi with a young Lamine Yamal.
- Just to clear something up about Messi playing for free (he shouldn’t have to). Barca’s wage to revenue ratio is currently at around 115%. Even without Messi’s wages, it’s still 95%. La Liga’s salary cap is set at 70%. So even if Messi played for free,Barca couldn’t register him.

- Overcoming Bayern’s dominance x2. Knocking out Barcelona when 3-0 down and with Salah, Firmino & Robertson injured. Winning a final with only 5 first choice starters fit & ending the game with academy products all over the pitch. Outperforming the sum of his parts is Klopp’s
- Barca are such an eye-cleanser. Every big team in Europe either doesn’t have the technical quality or the intention to regularly pass thru the middle of the pitch. Barca with Cubarsi, Pedri and Flick have both.
- You can’t explain it with analysis I’m afraid. The Bernabéu is some mad pressure cooker that even makes an all-time great like Neuer do that. Crazy.
