Want to say Thank You to every single Irish supporter that travelled out to Budapest to cheer us on this week. Means the world to us everytime stepping on that track and seeing the tricolour dotted all over the stadium. Made all of us feel like weโ€™re at home. ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช

1 year and 1 week after tearing my hamstring 40m into Euro u23s, what seemed like the be all and end all, I ran a global final

If anyone needs the proof. That is u16, u17 and u17 (the following year) XC results. Never great as a kid, took my time to find my event. On the plane to Paris ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท
Gives hope to any kid who finishes 106th in the All-Ireland Cross Country. Three years of hard work came down, in the end, to one race and he delivered with that 45 second run at Nationals.

Thankfully it hasnโ€™t been missed by those who have been watching but @DavidGillick post-race interviews have been phenomenal this week. Able to relate to every athlete in the mix zone and bring a different level of enthusiasm. #EuropeanChampionships2022

Will sadly be watching the European Indoor Champs from home this weekend, which is disappointing considering the form I have shown. Canโ€™t say it doesnโ€™t bother me that athletes that I have ran faster than are competing. Best of luck to the Irish squad, will be cheering them on.

Back in Business. In Morton, when it rains, it pours. Went through the gears with 150m to go, 47.05 in a downpour. Upwards to Oregon.

I got to sit across from Alyson Felix in the call room yesterday before the final. Had to keep myself from fangirling. I was TWO YEARS OLD when she competed in her first global championships. Privileged to have been in a race with such an athlete

46.66 for 3rd in my first World Tour race. First race this year where I havenโ€™t had my own way, very happy, kept the head. Couldnโ€™t ask for more.

It goes completely under the radar how much this helps us as athletes. Whether its the ability to go on a training camp, fly to a competition to try qualify for OLY, or pay for physio throughout the year to keep us healthy. @JKiernanFund is what gets most of us through the year.
Wanted to give the Jerry Kiernan Foundation a big shoutout. I was lucky enough to be taught by Jerry at St. Brigid's BNS in 2007, and I always remember how passionate he was about Irish athletics. Not all our Olympic athletes get Government funding, so the @JKiernanFund was

Blessed to start the journey with this amazing team today. Great to get experience as a Menโ€™s team and to have a platform to build off from here ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช
Disappointment for the men's 4x400m team of Jack Raftery, Chris O'Donnell, debutant Sean Doggett and Callum Baird, but they took plenty of positives from their performance #RTEsport
