- Racing NSW is deeply saddened to hear of the tragic loss of jockey Dean Holland and passes on condolences to Dean's family and friends. Racing NSW will donate $20,000 to a fund to support Dean's family.
- Apprentice jockey Leah Kilner update (3:30pm): Leah has been cleared of spinal injuries but has sustained fractured ribs and a fractured clavicle. She remains in an induced coma and will be monitored for her head injuries
