As an Irishman I grew up watching these colours winning all the big races, so it was pretty cool to win a G3 in them today on Gamay. Big thanks to @archi3alexander for the ride on this lovely filly

I am told surgery may be required, seeing surgeon on Tuesday and hopefully won’t be out for longAfter an unfortunate mounting yard incident today at Geelong @decbates will be sidelined for a short time due to a knee injury. - Devastating news, I never had the pleasure of meeting Stefano but we share a best mate in @EoinWalsh3 so I have heard many a story about him, and he was clearly an amazing person and talented rider. Condolences to his family and many friends around the worldWith deep sadness, the Cherchi family have announced their beloved son Stefano passed away peacefully today. The family are very grateful for the love, prayers & messages sent by the racing community across the world. 💔💔💔
