- I only started my lab a little over 4y ago as an Instructor @harvardmed @MGHHeartHealth with a new K08 award in hand. 4 R01 awards as PI later, here's what I've learned as a physician-scientist:

- My 1st 1st-author original science paper as a postdoc was Y3 in. My most recent one before that was as a 1st-yr med student. With 0 productivity during clinical training, & as an MD-only physician-scientist-hopeful in a new field, this was hard. Retrospective lessons👇
- When I was a medical student, I vividly recall taking care of very very sick patients with acute pancreatitis in the ICU. Remarkable to see how APOC3 inhibition (here, olezarsen) is now shown to be a highly effective therapy for severe hypertriglyceridemia, esp among those with
