- Why do I have a feeling that a whole lot of affluent neighborhoods are going to become of historic significance all of a sudden?
- Itโs still wild to me how the US government went all-in in dismantling all of its cities in the name of cars, racism, and classism. Just remarkableItโs insane to think about how Buffalo NY had a beautiful downtown that was almost completely leveled for parking lots and repetitive boxes.
- Funny how required side yard setbacks are a result of the FHA not underwriting your mortgage if you had an urban wall - to which they called a "social ill". An "ill because Italians, the jewish, black people - the "non-white" tended to live in such buildings. Planning is a joke.
- It would be cool if non car owners got an 800 dollar ebike rebate!
- Paralympics, Olympics, All-Star Game, and World Cup are all coming to LA soon. We have a planned light rail line that could connect visitors from LAX to all major lines, and potentially become the most utilized line in the country. Why arenโt we fast-tracking its construction?
