not the point of this post i know, but why the hell is it impossible for americans to walk down a street without a beverage in their hand. at least it’s just water here but it’s usually some 3000 calorie coffee thing
Calling this formless is embarrassing for you lmfao. You're just telling the world you have no training in hearing even moderately complex forms of harmonization. Which is fine. Neither do most ppl . But they arent presenting themselves as some sort of historian or intellect.
And so many french words are a nearly mumbled, consonant-less single syllable that is just a half vowel sound away from being a completely different word.
I think part of the problem is very few people have the sort of aesthetic training now a days that they once did. Art schools dont even really teach basic things like color theory.
So much of the early 21st century is in similar condition. If you were old enough to be taking analogue photos in the 90s, you probably have more material photographs from that period than digital photos you took in the 2000s, despite having taken many more of them.
This is how all 21st century tech disruption is turning out. Youtube now has more (& inferior) commercials than trad TV. Spotify curation worse than record stores. Google search less usesful than library card catalogue. Uber eats worse than just calling Chinese restaurant.
deeply regretting the terrible mistake of booking an airbnb for my holiday. airbnb is now essentially inferior to hotel in every way: price, convenience, cleanliness, comfort, amenities. and reviews can no longer be trusted for anything.
"Be yourself"? I literally got my ass kicked daily for having blue hair in the early 90s. Today you can be fat, blue-haired, have gross piercings all over your face & no one will bother you.
Also they barely exists in the real world. They are extremely online ppl who'd have absolutely nothing in common with the cake-baking woman living next door them & would insult them by not letting their own children eat the sugary candy at neighborhood bday parties
The conformity to liberal orthodoxy that exists among all the "arts" right now is unbelievably stifling. The arts have been forced to become megaphones for those liberal values. Any actual artistic value is beside the point.
jesus man, I used to get sent to the principal's office weekly for wearing a HAT in the building. in a public school. is "harm' the only criterion by which to determine if something is descent now?
