- Opening Benchling B deck showed the build. Approx 5yrs to 1M, then 1 to 100 in the next 5. Along the way let go of some customers in adjacent non core areas (repeatability over revs). Patient to let early adopters pull us and the product with them as they grew in a new market.
VCs are getting pharma software massively wrong. Underwriting huge bets off of the success of Benchling, Veeva, etc., seeing their huge, sticky, multi-year contracts and great logos.
