- Safety team was communicating with Buescher throughout. Once confirmed that he was in good health, they were deliberate in the flip to ensure no further issues. After MANY practice runs, this was the first time flipping the new car. It took around 5 minutes.
- Not true. The Official saw the spotters of the 1 & 12 getting heated during the battle for the lead. He spoke with both spotters to deescalate any unnecessary confrontations. "Calm down." 00:20The No. 88 team is not happy in Vegas 👀 - For clarity's sake, when it comes to ovals, these cars do not have wipers or flaps. NASCAR has been consistent on not racing on ovals if there's rain and/or the track could have spray for safety purposes.
