The Vice Mayor just confirmed that the administration's ordinance to approve a contract with the RNC to bring the GOP 2024 national convention to Nashville will be withdrawn this evening. That will end the legislation.

The Metro Council just passed BL2022-1385 on third reading.
That ordinance ensures that Nashville's license plate readers can't be used to enforce any laws in any state outlawing abortion or outlawing interstate travel to obtain an abortion.
