Fair play to The Independent. Thought this was very funny.

I know there'll be some understandable frustration but we now go to places like Villa Park as equals & feel disappointed when we leave with only 1 point. The fans have a team, and Club, of which they can be excited and proud in equal measure. Onto Ewood Park we go. #BrentfordFC

What an evening! Congratulations to everyone at @leytonorientfc. The Players, Richie and his team. The fans for getting the club back on its feet and Nigel and Kent picking it up and leading a return to League One. You all deserve this. Enjoy. The journey continues. #OneOrient

Just wanted to say thank you for your kind words and best wishes today. It was much more emotional than I thought it would be. Hope that today's result kick starts the season again and wish all Bees fans the very best in the future. Happy Christmas to you all. #Brentfordfc

A very big thank you to all 1902 travelling @leytonorientfc fans today. Thanks also for the respect shown during the minutes silence and 56th minute applause. It was much appreciated by our hosts, who have asked that I pass on their thanks. Safe journey home. #LOFC

My first @htafc matchday and really excited for it. First day butterflies & all that. Thanks to the Terriers staff who've all been incredibly welcoming in my first week. No doubt see some familiar faces today & good to meet some new ones and seeing how the new players settle in.

    Replying to @henrywinter
Henry, the Nations League matches are glorified friendlies. They are of no interest to most fans. As a Lge 1 club, the postponement of our games due to int breaks will cost us £150k in lost revenues & the goodwill of some of fans, who are simply fed up with the fixture changes.

That was tough. Credit to the players for working their socks off for each other, brilliant defending. Credit to the fans as well. You recognised it was going to be a real battle in the 2nd half & really upped the noise levels & support, getting the whole stadium singing. Thanks.

Unbelievable noise & support today from the @leytonorientfc fans. Thank you. Thanks to the players 4 the shift they put in, going toe 2 toe with the PL champions & thanks 2 all the staff 4 their hard work today. Result apart, it felt like an incredibly positive day for the club.

What a difference a week can make! Absolutely outstanding effort by Carlos and all the players for a well deserved win. A great way to go into the holiday period. Please stay safe and look after yourselves. #htafc
