    Vida Blue rest in peace, my mentor, hero, and friend. I remember watching a 19 year old phenom dominate baseball, and at the same time alter my life. There are no words for what you have meant to me and so many others. My heart goes out to the Blue family🙏🏿🙏🏿

    Throw up a hand if you remember when Dave Stewart was good for 250 innings and 20 wins a year. You didn’t realize at the time that it would be considered fucking impossible in the future.

    33 years ago on this day I along with Fernando Valenzuela threw a no hitter. I don’t know how many times in MLB history multiple no hitters have been thrown on the same day, but it was an honor to share that day with my old teammate and friend👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿

    I appreciate you my friend. This day is here and I’ll be honest I don’t know what to do with it, how to think. What I feel is hurt. A huge piece of my life is being transplanted to someplace else. This is not your fault, but it sure hurts to my core. I hope it’s not the end of

    I know at 93 death is around the corner, but I was not expecting it. I felt like Willie Mays would live forever. I am so grateful that he was my example of what we are on and off the field. The best to ever put a uniform on. RiP Say Hey Kid #24
