- So, you think HS S&C is entry level? 80% of your athletes come after school. You already worked a full schedule of classes, meetings, emails, etc. It’s 34 and raining outside. Two teams have to get their training in. You can’t just send the kids home or say “wait a half hour”.

- “Speed” sessions look terribly lazy to people who think more is better.

- PSA for all sports coaches and athletes: If you’re lucky enough to have a full time S&C coach at your school, help them feel appreciated. There is no offseason. The stress you feel during the season? That’s daily and multiplied daily in S&C. Know that it is not easy.
