My Mitt Romney–loving former Republican aunt and uncle early voted for Jay Jones, ignoring weeks of my gentle (and not-so-gentle) persuasion. 🤦🏻

- Replying to @SpanbergerForVA and @winwithwinsomeFriendly reminder: Winsome Sears is the only candidate for Governor whose running mates haven’t called for executing their political opponents, their children, or the police officers who put their lives on the line for Virginians each and every day.
- Replying to @jmurrayvaAunt O took me in when I first came out after my parents kicked me out and I failed out of college. Her conditions: 1️⃣: Go back to school 2️⃣: Get a job. As much shit as we give each other, I wouldn’t have graduated without her and definitely wouldn’t be here today.
- Replying to @jonesjayIf I listened to the Virginia Attorney General debate while driving and sped up each time Jay Jones said "Donald Trump," I'd be nearly as reckless as he was on I-64.
- Replying to @baseballot and @tony_staatsI personally think the worst call by Sunak was leaving the D-Day commemoration at Normandy early for a television interview. It was completely unnecessary and made him look wildly out of touch.
- Replying to @Rover829 and @tencor_7144Walz plays well in the Midwest, wouldn’t cause a special election and doesn’t upset the pro-Hummus voters in the Democratic Party. Sounds like the smart bet.
- Replying to @_Aaron_Newborn @tony_staats and 2 othersLeftists never let a thing like facts get in the way of a good tweet.
- Replying to @AnnaBryson18 and @FuzzeePunditWorth noting: this incident happened just one year after @jonesjay first ran for Attorney General. The man who wants to be Virginia’s top cop doesn’t think the law should apply to him.
- Replying to @jmurrayvaMama’s not saying. Starting to really worry about my Virginia relatives y’all…
- Replying to @ZainU21848152He was trying to keep his cool in order to avoid scaring the children and was attacked mercilessly for it during the 2004 campaign.
- Replying to @8NEWS and @VAboy1989Heck yes! Can’t wait for the first state to elect a Black Governor to make history again by electing the first Black woman Governor next November! Virginia is for history makers!! 👏 🗳️ #VAvotes #WinSomeWithWinsome #SupportBlackWomen
- Replying to @SteveGuestNever thought I’d miss G. W. Bush this much or long for the days when politicians could speak in full sentences. Can we please bring him back?
- As someone who actually is LGBT, I’m proud of Lt. Gov Sears for breaking barriers by becoming the first Black woman ever elected to statewide office in Virginia. Mayor Stoney should probably sit this one out and worry more about the riots happening in his own community.Winsome Sears has championed an agenda of extremism as Virginia’s Lieutenant Governor. She supports book bans, abortion bans, and misgenders individuals because she is anti-LGBTQ+. We need to reject this extremism next year.
